In the process of buying a home, movement mortgage used Triserv as an appraisal company to have a home appraised for purchase. Movement mortgage was informed that Triserv was unable to provide an appraiser at this time so movement mortgage informed myself (the buyer) of this. The order for the appraisal was canceled and an order for a refund was submitted as confirmed by my loan ******** ****************** on July 20th. On July 25th my loan officer from movement mortgage informed me that Triserv sent him a notification stating the refund was ordered on July 24th. I asked for an ETA on the transaction and was told by movement mortgage that this refund would only take a few more days. On Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 I received an update from my loan officer that the refund had been processed (Im paraphrasing) and that the refund had been complete. However, the card number/payment method in this update from Triserv was incorrect. A refund was to be issued to me at the card number listed on the invoice. I have attempted to contact Triserv SEVERAL times in light of this situation and to inform them of their mistake, but I cannot get through to their billing department and I am constantly being put on hold. Movement mortgage has also been trying to resolve the situation through their management. I have bank statements to prove I was not refunded and texts between myself and the loan ******** ****************** who is actively trying to assist me with this refund process. I have emailed Triservs billing department as well and left 2 voicemails for a return phone call. There has been zero contact from Triserv to address this situation. Payment was provided for a service that was never completed, and my money has been sent so someone elses account.
