I provided for them to return my car to *** *** on December **, following Matthew ( manager) Provided me information that he will have to charge me for the being at Butler. I provided to him to return my car because I cannot pay for storage. Before they would look at my car we agreed upon the diagnostic fee because *** *** was going to pay me back. He refused to return my car and now has filed that I abandoned my car. Saying I owe them $1790. I am being told, no documents received. Holding my car hostage. Provided that I will pay the original $1510. But nothing more for them to fix my car as agreed.Business response

The car came in on *** ****. Car was financed through ******* ***. We diagnose the car call it into warranty whatever is not covered is relayed to the customer for approval. The car diagnosed a tank full of water. This is not a mechanical order this should be addressed by the gas station where she pumped the gas/water into car. The insurance adjuster came out and agreed to move forward with the claim. She needed a week to come up with the rest of the money. Insurance cut her a check and provided a rental car. The customer did not pay us for the parts as provided by insurance. She was told if she could not pay she would have to remove the car from the lot. We attempted one more time and they would not talk to me, only stating return the car to ******. We therefore labeled the car abandoned, we received a repo notice from ******* *** on the vehicle. We have since found they paid up the Cap one loan. She was not charged for anything except to pay a tow company to bring the car back to her. We do not owe her storage fees as the car was left here not wanting us to work on it. It is not our responsibility to return the vehicle.Customer response
