      Bought a new bat and wanted work done on the bat. I purchased the service with super hot bats and sent them my $400 brand new bat. The service should have been completed in less than a month - its been 9 months with lie after lie. I want my bat back

I have never received my bat. My most recent communication with them was on 03/16/23.I want my bat fixed and returned or I want a settlement of $400 to cover my loss.

      June 8,2022 we sent this company my sons bat. I have been in contact with the business multiple times because they keep saying theyll send me a tracking number and they never do. The last conversation did get a little ugly because I am very frustrated that theyve had my sons bat for so long and have not even attempted to either give us compensation for the bat if they lost it or accidentally gave it to someone else or send us the bad if they cant fix it. We have the confirmation that they picked it up and they said they had it and they were going to send it back to us and yet we have not received a tracking number or the bat back.

      On 9/27/2022 paid for an end cap repair service and shipped the bat from our ** Military address in ******* to superhotbats. Had zero expectations to receive the bat bat soon so long as it would be returned by the start of the 2023 season. Superhotbats had a flood at the business site which caused additional delay and I could understand. Was told in December my bat would be completed in the next week or so. Over two months later I have no bat and no status despite sending an email to the business every few weeks to ask for status update. I would like for either the job to be finished or to receive my bat back as is and my money refunded.

      I wish I would have read the BBB reviews on Super Hot Bats before I shipped them my son's baseball bat for repair. I'm having the same problem that many others have faced. I shipped my son's bat and it was received on Jan. 20th, 2022. It is now Aug. 18th, 2022. I've been text messaging with Super Hot Bats. On March 31st, 2022 they said they were waiting on material. On May 12th, 2022 they said they were working on it that week. On May 26th and June 22nd they didn't respond to my text messages. On July 12th, 2022 after another request for a status update they replied that they were shipping that week. They haven't responded to text messages on July 31st and August 18th. At this point I just want the bat back. I will have it fixed somewhere else.

      I have communicated with the customer the entire time. When Covid hit materials that were made for end cap became hard to get. I explained this to The customer and he was fine with waiting being that the bat is useless. He has since canceled payment which means I have done the work with no payment. I need payment and I will ship the bat back

      Sent bat to business for service about 4 months ago. Still haven't received it. Have been going back and forth with owner for about 2 months via text. He claimed it was misplaced, but then found it - that was a month ago. Since then, I've asked repeatedly for a status update and he kept promising it would be done; however nothing has been shipped and no ETA. Therefore, I requested a refund without service and for him to just return the bat, but he has not done that. Hasn't returned a text message in 2 weeks. I've been nothing but cordial and extremely patient, but this level of delay is ridiculous, regardless of how busy he is.

      ********************* paid for services and services were completed. I explained to him that his bat took extra time to complete due to the metal ring inside his barrel. He requested a full job done to his bat which takes a lot of time. After letting him know the bat was completed he then called his credit card company and said that the charge was fraud. He is expecting me to send his bat fully worked without payment. Now because he opened up a claim on bbb he thinks that gives him the right to free work and s**** me out of money. I have told him once I receive payment the bat will ship. Pretty simple process.

      I sent in a Demarini CF Zen baseball bat to get worked on December 22, 2021. *** says he received it December 27th. I paid them $155 on December 21. After 2 months of not hearing anything, I contacted them. March 5th I was told he would ship it that week. Weeks went by and nothing. April 8th I was told it would ship out That Monday. Still nothing. April 26rth once again told he was shipping it out. Still nothing. Now he wont answer texts/messages. Im out $300 for bat and $155 I sent him.Ive been waiting for it almost 5 months and nothing.

      Sent my son's bat there to have the end-ca repaired on May 28, 2021, with little to no communication from the owner. On June 29th owner sent a text " had to clean out old glue almost finished with it" At this point, I want my son's bat back.

I explained this to the customer. The customer has already received his bat completely finished. Attached is the tracking number along with conversation showing bat was delivered.       Transaction date: 6/22/21, Order XXXXX, paid $95.75 What the business promised: 1 bat repair + 1 bat rolling Nature of dispute: Sent in bats, could never get update on work, filed PayPal claim, got full refund but company still has bats (value $250+). Only communication from SHB (after indicating I was going for a refund from PayPal): "The end cap had to be ordered. Once it comes in I will put it on and ship. Not sure what opening a claim is going to do other then stop the bats from Shipping back when completed." Responded to SHB: "If you complete the work + return the bats, I will cancel the case. If PayPal refunds the payment before you complete the work + return the bats, I will make sure you are paid the $95.75 upon receipt of the bats." No response. After PayPal refund, emailed: "If you now complete the work + return the bats, I will pay for the work as agreed. Otherwise, please return the bats + I will promptly reimburse you for shipping upon receipt." No response.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/01) */ Customer sent in his bat for end cap repair. End caps are not sold or made by the manufacture. I am the only company that offers an option to replace the end cap without spending $450 to buy a new bat. In order to replace the end cap I have to make the end caps from scratch. Since covid the materials needed to make end caps have been on back order and take several months to receive. I have completed the work on Mr. ********** bat and he has not paid. I operate just like every other company in the United States. I don't do work for free. If Mr. ********** wants his bat then he needs to pay for the services. The problem is I have had several customers use bbb As a way to try and get work done for free. This is a very unfair practice. I shouldn't be penalized and given a bad score bc this customer hasn't paid for the work I have provided. Even if I believe the explanation given, there's no excuse for not responding to any of my inquiries made by phone and email over a period of a month. Vendor WAS originally paid for this job (fortunately through PayPal), so I was able to get a refund after my claim against SHB was VALIDATED. Note that this order included a second bat which I sent for rolling - a new bat worth over $200 not mentioned in the vendor reply. I would like both bats returned, and even now, I'm willing to pay for the services ONCE I get the bats back, but would you risk advancing the money a second time with this company's track record? Finally, the insinuation that I would use the BBB to beat a vendor out of less than $100 while he retains possession of my bats (retail value over $400) is laughable.       Sent in my son's baseball bat for end cap repair. I found this business through a Facebook ad. The business responded early via text. I paid him $65.00 for end cap repair and asked him to send back after repair. Have not heard anything back. Left numerous text messages and voicemails with no response.

I also explained to the customer that I needed payment in order to ship the bat. In return I receive a bbb negative score and a demand to ship back their bat without payment. Very unfair practice. Their bat has been shipped back and I'm out $85. Please help me bbb with my score. I get in hundreds of bats. How can I possibly know those 2 names are the same people. Your bat has been shipped. It is scheduled to be to you by Friday. For future reference no matter who you use make sure the name you pay with and the name you ship from are the same. My next steps are to contact the local Georgia Police Department and file a complaint. And a report to see if there's any way I can retrieve my bat. I don't understand how this company can stay in business and wondering how many more customers he has taken money from without sending back bats he took money to repair. After contacting the authorities I will have my attorney send a letter to the authorities to have this business investigated. He has my bat for 6 months now and I still have not seen my bat yet. This business should be shut down and put out of business for illegally taking money from customers without producing a finished product.
