Total Comfort installed a new AC unit, furnace and thermostat in my home **** *** Sent a technician (Cody) to make sure the install was done correctly and somehow still the BRAND NEW unit still under their warranty is out again in almost 30 days. I’ve contacted them several times because of the extreme weather conditions. Under their advisement, I’ve created a $10000 debt for a new unit just to be in the same position I was when I started. They’ve offered to order a specific part for the unit with no ETA, no updates, no concerns in regards to customer service and creating a solution for my family and I.Business response

I'm sorry that we had a mechanical failure in your system that the repair part was not in stock locally and had to be shipped in. We have since taken care of the repairs under your first-year warranty. I thought we were showing a great deal of concern by providing temporary units so your family could be comfortable while we waited to receive the parts for repair. Total Comfort will always try to make our customer experience a priority.Initial Complaint

Used the company to replace my cooling system. The sales consultant stated the furnace will be checked and that the furnace was in good shape and recommended that the cooling system be replaced and do some duct work. Duct work was left off, the cooling system cliched my power, i have had to have 4 technicians to come out since and now the gas company is saying that the furnace need a trap. My issue is if the consultant check everything then why did he not catch that the furnace had no trap. If i had only known then i would have got the furnace replaced and fiance all at the same time, now I am looking to pay a separate cost for the service. I don't think my furnace was touched when they said they looked at it.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/06/24) */ Talked to customer and attempted to explain that we did not install her furnace and gas line to it. The trap is located on the outside of the unit and has no bearing on the operation of the furnace. However since they are a new customer its not worth arguing about and I told her we would send someone out to install sediment trap.
