I made a cash transaction of $1150.00 on July 12, 2023. To obtain a duplex on **********************************************************. I was told by a lady in management that I will need to pay another $1150.00 by August 1st. I then received a document about the property on July 25th stating I would pay $2300.00 instead of the $1150.00 that was told to me by management on July 12th. It also stated that had 24 hours to change my mind. That was not stated to me on the July 12 and this company waited 13 days after I made the transaction of $1150.00. To say my money is not refundable. All I want is my $1150.00 back.

**************** was approved for the property at ********************** on July 6, 2023 and advised that his monthly rent would be $1,150 with a $2,300 security deposit due to not having current rental history. On July 11, 2023 **************** paid a reservation fee with an electronic cash payslip for $1,150. It was confirmed received by our office as of July 11, 2023 at 10:20 am and **************** signed the attached reservation letter electronically that states that he understood that he had paid $1,150 to reserve the property at ********************** and that his security deposit was $2,300.00. We explained to **************** on at least two separate occasions prior to August 1, 2023 that he would be paying $2,300 on the day of move in in addition to the $1,150 that he has already paid to hold the property. The letter also stated that this $1,150 is nonrefundable after 24 hours of payment being made to us. A week before his move in we called him to schedule his lease consultation for the 1st of August and explained to him again what he would need to be prepared to pay on the 1st and he stated that he was not aware he was going to need to pay $2,300 so we explained that he had paid $1,150 that would go towards his move in balance and would be paying another $2,300 for his deposit. He then proceeded to set up his move in for August 1st at 3 pm. On August 1st **************** called in upset saying that no one ever explained to him that he had to pay an additional $2,300 to move in on the 1st. We advised him that he had signed documentation as well as received an email and several phone calls explaining this information and there was nothing else we could do. I even asked him if he would be able to break up the deposit and pay part at a later date and he stated that he would not be able to pay the remainder until the end of August.

We feel that we made every effort to clearly explain the details of **************** approval and even work with him on him paying partial or on a different date if it was possible. **************** declined so we sent him a letter stating that he would be forfeiting his reservation fee (which has been attached).

on 9/17/2021 I paid a $70 app fee for a rental home by PMUinc. On 9/24/2021, I took 2 money order for a deposit on the home for $1095. I asked to view the home and was told by ***** that the home still had a tenant and I could not view it. The ad on the website of the home stated that it was a brick home with large fenced in back yard (see add). To date 10/18/21 after paying my dep, no one from the property company has called me to go and view the home so I took it upon myself to go. The reason for interest in the home was the ad stating large fenced in back yard since I have a dog which I advised them of. The home has no fenced in back yard, has no fence around the home at all. I feel lied to, swindled out of my hard earned money. They should not falsely advertise that it has a large fenced in back yard when there is no such thing surrounding the home. I am no longer interested in renting the property , have not signed a lease and would like my deposit
