I'd love to leave 0 stars for this company but unfortunately, that's not an option. We originally purchased a countertop water filter from them in July 2022, loved it, used it daily with great results. At the beginning of 2024, we felt that it was time to replace that filter with a new filter and we ordered the same one, expecting of course the same great experience. Sadly and irately, this time the experience was nothing short of awful. We placed the order on Jan 2, received it on Jan 6 and by the end of January, it was no longer working. The website says that the filter should put out a minimum of 25 gallons of water in 24 hours. We were getting less than a quart in that time. We initially contacted the company when we noticed that the filter was running slowly, half the filter speed, and we asked for troubleshooting ideas. They gave us the ideas that are listed on their website, we had already tried them all. Then we tried to contact them multiple more times, both by phone and email, including videos that they requested of the output of the product. No response. More attempts to contact the company. Generic and repetitive responses. Finally after multiple attempts to get help and no legitimate response (being told repeatedly that the customer service rep would contact tech and get back to us, only to never hear back), we contacted our credit card company and asked that our charge be reversed. Surprisingly (not really) Crystal Quest returned our call for the first time in 3 weeks within an hour of our request to our credit card company. They immediately offered us a return label and said that they would refund our payment once the filter was received. We returned it within 2 days. Then they proceeded to dispute our refund request with our credit card company, tried to lie, and said we never returned it. Fortunately, we had the tracking info and we were able to prove that we returned it promptly as they requested. This company is junk. Stay away.
