I purchased a 2021 *****6 from *** Ellis ***** Marietta (part of Jim Ellis Motors ***** in Jan 2024. I was shown an inspection checklist stating the vehicle was fully inspected and in great condition, and trusted the information given.Immediately after purchase, I noticed brake concerns, though their inspection had cleared the brakes. I later experienced odd gas performance, electrical glitches, and exterior appliqu warping. This started minor but worsened over time. In Nov 2024, ******** ***** ****** blamed the exterior issue on sun damage, though this occurred during cold weather.I had full inspections at ******** ***** ****** three times. On my first visit, only alignment and dirty air filters were found, which I found odd for a recently sold, fully inspected vehicle. Each following visit, I was told nothing else was ******** March 2025, after continued reassurances, I took the car to an independent mechanic. They immediately found dangerously low brake fluid, battery corrosion, and dirty cabin air filters which are basic safety issues that should have been caught. Ive unknowingly been driving for over a year with undisclosed safety concerns. When I contacted *** Ellis Corporate to explain everything, they deflected blame, repeated the sun damage explanation, and implied I failed to report mechanical concerns, despite my multiple inspections from ********* ***** that they failed to further clarify on. They made it uncomfortable to even discuss my concerns and dismissed me entirely before they could hear the full story.I now have full documentation: service records, inspection reports, photos, emails, and recorded calls. I am documenting my experience as I seek full accountability from *** Ellis ***** Marietta, ******** ***** ******, Jim Ellis Motors ***** and ***** North America Customer Experience for how this situation was handled, including ignoring safety concerns that could have put lives at risk.

I would give negative stars if i could. My daughter had to have her car towed there for a broken skid plate, They took if off, said the car was safe to drive. She needed an oil change, got that done was on the road 30minutes before the oil leaked out and the car completely stopped. I called and after talking to a women that was never going to take responsibility for the oil change mistake. We were told we could tow it back to them at our expense, which after talking to the lady (asked over and over to speak to a manager) and after she immediately assumed it was my daughter"s fault, which at the time, we weren't sure it wasn't her fault, i was just trying to understand how they didn't see oil coming out of a car that fast. I was told they don't do a diagnostic test because it was too expensive, that her skid plate was full of oil and it was her fault. I was not going to take the car back there, we had it towed to a mechanic we used before. I called *** again the next day, i wanted pictures of the skid plate and the phone recording it says at the beginning of the phone call. I was denied both. They still wouldn't let me talk to a manger, i was told by the same lady i talked to the day it happened that my daughter needed driving lessons and if we loved her, we would have bought her a safer car. The car was fixed and it turned out to be a broken o ring that they should have caught. So we have paid by now, two visits, 2 tows and she was without a car for 5 days because of their mistake. They didn't call us back, except to say we were not welcome there and they would not service our car. We left several voicemails and e mails to a manger. (this was in October) finally heard back in feb after i left a bad ****** review. I was asked what they could do to make the situation right, we wanted 375 for the 2 oil changes and one tow. I was told they would not pay for the other place to fix our car, it was our own choice to take it there. I would never take a car here!

In mid-August, I took my car to **** in Marietta for a recall service. During the visit, they quoted various repairs that hadnt been noted in an inspection just ***** miles earlier, despite no check engine light or prior issues. Afterwards I noticed a scraping sound on the right side and popping noises. It turned out the plastic cover wasnt bolted back on /scraping the tire. When I contacted the advisor, he claimed it was like that previously, suggested I pay for a replacement. I left a review noting my dissatisfaction, which prompted a call from the manager. He asked me to bring the car back in to inspect the cover. Which I refuse to do at the time given my experience with the advisor. I also mentioned the popping noise, which he attributed to the turbo, stating it was common in high-performance vehicles. Shortly afterward, my check engine light came on, so I contacted the mgr again. He cleared the code but said to return if it reappeared. When the light came back on, I took the car to a different shop in S.C. where they found a broken secondary hose clip that had caused the issue. They fixed it, but the popping noise persisted.During a recent oil change with a free inspection, tech found faults under the car and asked about previous work. When I mentioned the recall, they noted it wasnt documented on my Carfax and needed more information before proceeding. I called Audi Marietta to request a detailed service record, but the manager wasnt available The secretary said shed relay my message to the advisor and that Id receive an email with the service details within an hour, but I still havent heard back.Since receiving my car back, Ive been hesitant to return due to ongoing issues. I spent $3,000 to fix a broken clip and may need another $2,500 for additional repairs. Im also unsure if the recall was ever completed, as it doesnt appear on my Carfax. This experience is concerning for a high-end dealership, and it has left me wary of all service providers.

Bait and switch. The Jim Ellis *** in Kennesaw has on its website *** EV9 for $3900 $129 a month for 24 months ***** miles a year. I went on Saturday to lease one they kept me in there for more than 2 hours pulled my credit etc only to tell me it was a glitch on the website and they can give me $11k down $450 a month. I felt like I was fooled on their website and it should be illegal for them to bait and switch customer.

They are ripping people off knowingly. They are mis-diagnosing cars in an attempt to extort money from their customer. On two separate occasions in the past year, I had my car checked out by them and then another car repair service. The first time I took it in to fix brakes which were grinding, metal on metal, very obvious the pads were worn out. They came back and told me with a straight face there was nothing wrong with the brakes but recommended 1800 dollars worth of other repairs. The second place I took the car said of course the brakes need to be fixed but found no other issues with the car. Yesterday I took my car in because it wasn't passing emissions due to a check engine light and the air conditioning is not working. They told me that some valve needed to be replaced at a cost of 1200 and 800 to fix the air conditioning. The second place I took the car said there was nothing wrong with the car, just a computer issue for the check engine light, they fixed that and quoted me 500 to fix the ac. This has gotten out of control, they should not be able to do this, this is fraud and customer gouging!!!

Terrible customer service! Everyone seemed amazing when I dropped the car offinitially told it was 2-3 turn around for diagnostics. Started to call on day two. NEVER got a call back. Left multiple messages, called every day multiple times. Car was not ready until day 9. Which is fine! But update me! Let me know that the car is not ready, or will not be ready, or will be readyas Im waiting around for 9 days with no car. Was told I wasnt eligible for a loaner and that they cant provide one anyway- then when I brought up that NO ONE was returning my calls, customer service ***** says that their phones have been down ??. They gave the run around the entire time and I would NOT recommend them to anyone looking to have work done on their **** I also am not positive that they charged me correctly for the work done. Had a WSS replaced, which to me would count under powertrain since the hub is connected to operate THE ENGINE, but was told no it is not covered.

I had a twelve year relationship with this dealership going back to when it was still Cobb County **** I've bought two cars from this location and have taken each one back for all my service. I will not be returning to this dealership or any other Jim Ellis owned dealership for that matter. My most recent business dealing with them was a unmitigated disaster. From the warranty claim process to the actual service. They had my car for 18 days for a repair that was estimated to take 7 hours (according to the warranty claim they submitted). This repair (timing belt cover gasket replacement) had already been diagnosed on two prior occasions. The end result of this service fiasco was a rental car fee of $1,275.00 and a cancelled Thanksgiving holiday. Pretty much got a too bad, so sad attitude for my trouble. If anyone from Jim Ellis corporate would like to discuss the complete breakdown of customer service at this dealership, I'd be happy to go into greater detail about my experience.
