      in 2020 Drake Exterior ( contractor name *****************************) replaced the roof on our home, after a big storm we had here in ****** **. After the recent big rain storms, we had in our area, we noticed that it might be something wrong with out roof , since water stains started to show on the garage ceiling. We called our insurance company and they advice that we should contact our Contractor since the roof is only 3 year old. We called the office, left voiced mails, I even sent an email to the contractor directly, but with our any success. We just need to know If there is anything, or any warrant that the company have, since the roof is almost new.

      Drake Exteriors LLC installed a roof on our home January 2018. A year later we had a leak which was immediately repaired by them. In January 2022 we have another leak. I tied to contact the ** office but they are closed. I contacted the owner of Drake Exteriors - ****** at their ********* ** number. He said they would schedule someone to look at it. It is now two months later, I have called and left several messages and have sent several texts to his cell phone ************ and have not received any return communication. Any help you can give us would be appreciated.

      I am in receipt of your letter regarding ***********************.  Please note, we spoke with claimant and advised that the roof warranty expired in 2020. They indicated they would handle themselves.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      First I stand by my original statement.  I have not been contacted by a representative of Drake Exteriors.  Second I have attached 3 pages of the contract executed with Drake Exteriors on 6-25-18.  Please note that the contract states that

      A. "If any material issues arise Drake Exteriors will advocate for you to Certainteed "

      B. "All materials are under a lifetime warranty per Certainteed."

      C. Drake Exteriors carries a 5yr workmanship warranty."

      D. If there are any issues with the ridge vents that Certainteed will not cover drake exteriors will take responsibility."

      Again I have not been contacted by Drake Exteriors.  The workmanship warranty per their contract is 5 years not 2 years as their response states.  

      This month I had a contractor assess and repair the roof leak. He stated that the ridge vent was of improper design and fitment for areas that get blowing snow and allowed snow to come into the attic melt and stain the ceiling.  He replaced the one ridge vent where this occurred and repaired and painted the ceiling.
