      I had ordered a trailer 3 months ago. I have been in contact with the sales office during this time and was recently told that my trailer was next to come off the production line( email was ********* and the estimated delivery would be 2 weeks. Yesterday I received a call stating that they WILL NOT build my trailer based on our written agreement and that the cost would increase and also that production has not started and would take an additional 3-4 weeks to complete- plus the new estimate is higher than the original They are refusing to refund us. We are a new business and we have spent thousands of dollars preparing to open at the end of April( colony was aware of our opening day). They have been misleading form the start and we simply want to get our deposit of $8500 and move on. I have months of emails to prove my case if needed

      Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2022/05/12) */ *** ordered his trailer in Jan. 2022 and was given an estimated lead time of 4-6 months. When I was contacted in April I informed him he was the next in line to be built and come out of our orders. Meaning the next one for Colony Cargo. However, my manufacturer has many dealers and I have no way of knowing an exact date or if his trailer is the next to come out over all orders at my manufacturer's plant. In our term section of all paperwork it states that build times are estimates, pricing is subject to change without notice and any cancellation after an order has been placed will result in the deposit being forfeited. Due to covid-19 and part shortages build times are taking longer than normal. This is out of Colony Cargo's hands. I have done my best to keep *** up to date on what is going on with his trailer. However, after being yelled at and cursed at, I emailed him to inform him that I would no longer go back and forth with him but that I would contact him as soon as his trailer is complete and ready to be shipped. Consumer Response /* (3000, 18, 2022/08/19) */ i purchased a trailer form this company and I have had to spend thousands of dollars fixing their errors and they will not honor the warrantee or return my calls and messages. Refund Business Response /* (4000, 24, 2022/10/07) */ Mr.******** was asked to provide more information in order to assist him with his claim of repairs and damage, which he has still not provided. He was asked for the second time via email on ********. He was asked again over the phone on ******** and responded that he did not owe us any information, and he was not obligated to send in any information. He was informed that we could not process any sort of claim without the information being provided.

      Look at the picture attached. I found this on a google search. It shows trailer number **** which is a 7 x 14 Cargo Trailer for $3970. I contacted them about the trailer and they sent me an estimate for $5440. I was very confused. I told them that it was listed online for $3970. The lady told me she had just taken the business over from her dad and that the ad was no longer valid. Most companies honor an ad so long as there is not an expiration date on it. They would not honor it. She said it wasn't her fault because her dad still owned the online portion. I think this is completely wrong and they should honor the price. Whatever family drama is going on has nothing to do with me and the price is listed for public view.

We have received 5 price increases since December, and we have since removed all pricing from our home page. I explained that I have not been able to access our Google listing, as I have taken over the business. I am still trying to access that ownership (Google management). But if you go to our HOME page, there are NO prices. I can't sell a trailer for less than i am paying for it. I apologize for any inconvenience. Colony Cargo LLC is a reputable business that has been in business since 2008, and we in NO way want to mislead anyone. Thank you.
