I've been living at these apartments and I have had flooding in the apartment five times. Two times in the bathroom and four times in the bedroom. They have come several times and just pulled up the padding and put the carpet right back over it. They have only painted the walls and ceiling. Never replacing it. I believe that there is mold in here. I can smell it and I feel like it's been making me sick. This last time it flooded it's been a week now where they have not come to fix it yet. It has ruined my furniture And I am very concerned with inhaling any mold that might be living within these walls. I have asked for a status. I haven't even never got a email to tell me that they were sorry that this happened and what their action plan was going to be. After five attempts of trying to make this right I am starting to get very concerned for my safety please let me know if there's anything that you can do to help me with this matterBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/10/01) */ We have responded to all work orders that have been called in from ***** ********* and other lease holders. We have had contractors come out and make all the necessary repairs and reimburse her $500.00 for any damages caused. If it is as bad as she has stated in her complaint, you would think that she would have submitted a 30 day notice to vacate instead of renewing her lease agreement at the end of September. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/10/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Good afternoon, with everything going on with Covid and all... It's not that easy to just pick up and leave your home with a short week notice that the lawyer was recommending me to be out by October 15th. This would be coming with a new deposit, moving expenses such as a truck and what not, and all the other stuff involved with having to moving. Right now the market is still hard to just find a place as well. It's just very sad to hear that they still can't just officially apologize. I put my trust into the apartments to do the right thing. I signed a lease agreement with them. It is not my fault that the water was coming from the outside and caused all these problems. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. I'm just asking to fix the problem once and for all. They can issue me the check either in person or they can mail it to me to replace the dresser. Like I stated earlier I've I have had Water leaks and damages in my room five times since January. The first time it caused damage to my bed. This last time it caused damages to the dresser. I'm not sure who would be happy under the circumstances of five times your room gets flooded since January. Let alone my bathroom has had three flooding issues as well since January. I just want to live comfortably and I feel under the terms that I've been subject to it has not been comfortable. I have been put out where I cannot stay in my room without moving things around. Had to deal with Leaking and furniture got ruined on two different occasions due to the leaks. Let alone my bathroom has had three flooding issues as well since January. I just want to live comfortably and I feel under the terms that I've been subject to it has not been comfortable. I have been put out where I cannot stay in my room without moving things around Since January with them coming into my apartment on several occasions different times to fix all of these water issues. So at this time I'm going to have to decline the offer I cannot move out or afford to just pick up and leave my residence. I will except the offer for the money to replace my dresser. I will have to continue to watch for further water problems at this time. I'm just stating that every time they told me the water problem is fixed again it happened five times since January just in my room not the bathroom including. Each time they never apologized for it and act like it was my fault they kept telling me to take it up with my insurance I called Statefarm immediately and they said because the water came from the outside that it would have to go through them. They were not nice to me about this process from the start I've had to put up a fight just to get whatI will except the offer for the money to replace my dresser. All I was asking is to make sure the water problem is address. Every time you've told me it just kept coming back to another water issue. Causing more damage to more of my property. Plus The inconvenience of all these different times people coming in and out of my home I can't get to my furniture I can't get to my clothing it's just been a lot that I've had to go through and not even to get a sorry for the problems that it's cause let's fix this let's work together.
