      Bad Business! Stay away! Would not recommend doing business with ****** ***** Landscaping!

      We scheduled a crew to grade two loads of fill dirt for ***** *** on Thursday (May 27, 2021) at 9:00 a.m. The crew arrived at 8:40 a.m. with a flat-bed heavy duty truck, 18-foot utility trailer and a bobcat skid steer loader. Mr. *** lives in a small cul-de-sac with very limited area for parking this much equipment. We called Mr. S. *** and asked him to move his three cars parked in the street preventing us from parking in front of his house. Mr. *** refused to come outside to move his cars and told us to block the street. We explained that the fire department, trash pick-up and his neighbors need proper accessibility to the street. Mr. *** called us sorry *************** and we drove away. It was not a safe environment for the crew. He called back and left a recorded message that he would send bad reviews every day concerning the company. This interaction was very sad, no one deserves to be verbally berated by a customer/ person. We are very professional landscapers, but not someone you can insult their character.

      First let me apologize to Mr. ***** for my language. He is absolutely correct in that I should have not used that type of language regardless how frustrating it was to do business with him. And for that I sincerely apologize. Now to the point, Mr. ***** never asked me to move my cars, in fact I suggested to him that I would move the car in front of my house and he could pull straight in front of my house and he said he couldn't do that. I have had other contractors do this when work was needed at my house so I know it can be done and without any inconvenience to my neighbors, traffic etc.. It was like every suggestion I made was not good enough for him. It was excuse after excuse as if he didn't want to do the job. It all started when I was not willing to pay him half upfront for the work. I advised him I was not going to pay that much upfront and no work was even started, no materials onsite, nothing. From that point on it continued to be a problem. Yes I advised that I would send a bad review because in my opinion the service I received was subpar and I feel I have a right to share my dissatisfaction in this companies ability to perform a job to anyone who may seek to utilize their services. If they choose to accept my opinion of this company that's on them. But I will share my experience and complaint. I know I would not use their service ever!

      Mr. **** ensured that he would be disrespectful and not allow us the opportunity to provide grading services on the morning scheduled.
      The interesting point is that we assembled a crew, fueled a heavy-duty flatbed truck and bobcat skid-steer loader. Traveled to Mr. ****** house and called him to move his cars, so we could park our truck and equipment. We showed up ahead of the scheduled time, he refused to allow us park safely and we drove away after the profane language and offensive comments. We lost money on fuel cost, equipment usage fees and payroll. Most importantly, Mr. *** is ignorant in his understanding of the BBB. We maintained the proper and trustworthy standards of business during this process. We just don't work nor service people that use terrible language and maintain nasty attitudes. Lastly, forwarding a complaint about service when there was no service rendered. Mr. *** also don't understand, that we have the right to refuse him service. Because we were professionals in this matter, removing our employees from this terrible and possible violent situation was the right thing to do.

      I'm sure anyone seeking to use this companies services can see that my complaint is valid and may choose to use your services or not. That is not up to me to decide. However, you continue to state the same thing about the language. I used 1 curse word in the heat of a discussion where you continued to make every excuse in the book to not do the job that you agreed to do and that is the only justification you have. You know that when I wouldn't agree to pay you half upfront you wasn't going to do the job and that would have been fine if you didn't have me purchase the dirt upfront. I asked you to either order the dirt and I would pay for it or provide me with the place where you was going to get the dirt and I will contact them directly, you refused and told me to find my own dirt and then complaint that it wasn't the dirt you would have used and that the job might not come out right. Again, excuse after excuse. No worries the job is done and I used a real professional! Something you are far from. Beware of this company, had I paid him half upfront I would have been stuck with the excuses and more than like a horrible job! Good luck!
