In June 2020, I purchased a residential property . Atlantis Plumbing has attempted to claim my residence as the location of its business on Google Maps despite knowing that no such office exists here. When I had Google remove the listing from my address, Atlantis sent proxies to my home, perhaps in an attempt to intimidate me or to spy on my home. They then seem to have mislead Google into restoring their listing despite knowing full well that they have no right to do so. This is dishonest, unethical conduct solely so that they can try to reach more customersmany of whom are likely mislead by the online listing. I have attached a copy of the publicly available property tax statement displaying my name as owner.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/10/27) */ We had an annual lease with the previous owner for the location you purchased. We have since not made any claims to that address and have moved. Your efforts to remove us from that address resulted in COMPLETE removal from Google and our 800+ reviews of 5 stars. That was not fair or just, so Google has now fixed the issue and our listing is back with the correct address that we had moved to. To be clear, the office location on Clifton Street has been removed from our Google listing and moved to the new location. There may be other listings around the web, but it takes some time to undo 10 years of marketing and we also do not have direct access to everything on the web. We are doing the best we can to eliminate any confusion. Atlantis has never sent anyone, proxies or otherwise, to the location since you have purchased the home. My manager, ****, reached out to you via a very open & friendly email when you purchased the home but we never heard back from anyone. We are a very ethical and approachable organization. If there was/is any issues, we are easily reached and very amicable to deal with. Again, we are and have been attempting to update the internet with our correct location. Google has been updated and we are diligently working on anything else we are able to update.Initial Complaint

On 7/23/21, Atlantis Plumbing attempted to repair a toilet in our home. They rebuilt the TOTO toilet for $270, which is about the cost of a brand new toilet. That also upset us. The toilet did not work properly right afterwards, and they sent out a plumber again. The toilet still did not work. They sent someone out a third time, and the toilet still did not work. I tried to reach the owner of the company twice. He did not return my calls. I tried calling again and got the plumber who did the work, and he disputed the fact that our toilet did not work. He blamed us for not holding down the handle that flushes long enough. I reminded him that there was a 6 month warranty on parts and labor. Instead of honoring the 6 month warranty, he instead on 8/11/21 made a proposal to replace flappers in all our other toilets. I called Atlantis several times and left messages. No one ever returned my calls.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2021/09/15) */ We spoke to the customer and have worked the situation out. He should be pulling his negative review and we will continue to do business. He is a valued customer and has been for a long time. I was out of town during the period he was trying to reach me so when I returned I spoke with him and we got the issue resolved.
