I took my truck to Geo autobody shop on February 17, 2021 to get my bumper fixed on my truck. I got a call, saying it was ready, so I went to pick it up. When I arrived to pick it up Geo volunteered to paint, my entire truck, fix my bumper correctly, fix my finder and door for $2,500 down and $1,000 once it was ready. I put $2,500 down and now the price has went up to me owning $4,300. I still don't have my truck nor has the job been completed. I need to be compensated for having to wait 4 months and having to rent cars for transportation, for the entire time he's had my truck, because I was lied to about the timing of the truck being completed. And I still don't have my truck nor is it done. I feel the business is not trying to finish the job nor really put forth effort to completing the job. It is unfair, to ask for more money, after I was promised something and the did not hold their end of their bargain. I feel like I'm being scam and took along for a joyride and it's not fair!Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2021/07/06) */ Our customer ********* ******** came to our shop for repairs on her truck back on February 2021 since we know her mother we gave her a couple of choices because she wanted to repair and paint the truck but she didn't had all the money . She brought a deposit for $ 2,500 on feb-17-2021 the following week she came back to the shop because she want to change the color of the truck since it was already here we told her it will be okay just with a difference of price which will be $3,300 plus her balance of $1,000 and total balance will be $4,300. We told her to make payments during the time that we are working on it. IF she didn't have all the money at once. Then she came and choose the color, plus we even did a paint example for her. Which she agree with the total balance of $4,300 and the new color paint example. We started to get ready on body work, and dents but now she doesn't have the money to continue although she wants to go back to the first agreement but it is too late and the truck is ready to be painted . However, we have been waiting on her to bring some money all this time but it is always a different story and she keeps changing her mind and she wants her truck. Consumer Response /* (3000, 16, 2021/07/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Their response does not take care of the problem they created. I just wanted my truck painted, for the price we agreed on. And now I still don't have my truck back, nor is it painted and their not trying to resolve the situation. And yet my truck is being held hostage and I'm confused on why!
