      Sawnee EMC ------- GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY company. I signed up for paperless billing, but it went to spam and I did not see the ****, nor the cut-off warning. I have never missed a payment. I came home from my teaching job on a Friday night. My garage door would not open because the power was shut off. I had no other way in my house. They charge $15 for a late fee .... another $60 for a disconnect fee and .... the worst part...They wanted $260 to turn it on after hours and on a weekend. It was a cold Friday night, so I waited until daylight.... where it was $125 to reconnect. Merciless and greedy! I wish I had an alternative electric company.

      One star is sufficient. UGH, the HORRIBLE customer service I received today was by far the WORST. ***** B asked that I had spoken with her a few times why would I ask her name, again? Really?! RUDE! Good to see they have like a poor rating- based on reading other reviews, others have certainly experienced poor service.

      Sawnee provides their customer with an app for prepaid customers and after having the app for a year I noticed a discrepancy with my prepaid account so I started taking pictures of my kilowatt hours and when I called to compare them with Sawnee's it did not match the app has a glitch in it to give higher kilowatt hours to make them more money this happened before and they corrected it I had seven days left on my account before any money is supposed to be paid today I woke up it said two days left I'm so upset because not even the supervisor would come to the phone who does this? Anyone in 2021 that has prepaid with Sawnee Electric should keep their eyes on usage and call and ask what the readings on their kilowatt is and if you find a discrepancy then you know I'm telling the truth I'm going to get legal help with this no one should be billed more for what they are not using the representative did not care neither the supervisor either I'm so upset and the fact that I cannot live in an area where Georgia Power is smh 🤦‍♀️ I'm hoping Corporate Office will see this to any prepaid Sawnee Customers take pictures of your daily usage if o have to get legal help I will and based on the call today I definitely need it!

      Part 2 I will let you know BBB when they do because Its almost noon time did they call No!

      I woke up this morning to check the app I was shocked 😮 The app said I used $6.75 and I have never not even last year in the dead heat of the summer use that amount my bill was never that high!

      You see when I was on the phone yesterday, I asked the rep to tell me my kWh usage daily and when she told me, it was all wrong. I tried several times to tell her It happened to me last year meaning; the kwh hours didn't match!

      So what I did was, I went back all the way to the beginning of June now mind you I was only able to do that because I took pictures. But, funny how this morning I could tell they accessed my app because the app went back to days that shouldn't be even in the app!

      I had to take pictures to provide proof because I cannot go way back in the app to get those dates! 🤦‍♀️ I am hoping they will fix the app that's all they need to do it's a glitch that's overcharging me again I'll keep everyone updated

      It's amazing how the rep didn't say hey wait a minute something is wrong because your kWh hours is supposed to match ours smh 🤦‍♀️

      and then the rep came back with another version and story but listen BBB last year when it happened they saw the discrepancies and I saw it and it was corrected!

      Again I will wait to hear from Sawnee EMC but I will let you

      Sawnee EMC attempted to contact the member on 7/1/2021 at 4:31 pm. Sawnee EMC left a voicemail when no one answered. The member contacted the Customer Service Supervisor on 7/6/2021 and indicated she was returning the call. The CS Supervisor spoke with the member and they are in the process of reviewing the information.
