On June 12, 2022 I went to Atlanta Auto Firm to purchase a car. I left with a finance contract of $15,920.62. I traded in my car and also put down a $2,000 down payment. A month after purchasing the car I've been constantly running to different places trying to get things fixed. After finally deciding to take my car to the dealer I found out that they were permanently shut down. I was left with no choice but to return to ******* to look for help. I was given a list of things wrong and many of the mechanics couldn't begin to explain how they were messed up. The list included but not limited to: Oil drain plug $66 (leaking and a crack in oil pan), ABS wheel speed sensor replacement $420, Valve cover gasket replacement $613, Knock sensor (not mounted in the correct spot) including many others coming to a total of $780.87. Now 2 months later my car breaks down on the highway and is turning over but not starting. The car is towed to *******, and the report says my engine needs to be rebuilt/replaced for $9,744,71. Battery Replacement $278.82. I reached out to the bank I have the loan with (Westlake) and was told my engine is covered by pep boys but after towing the car there I was told they cant fix it. ******** once again tells me I can tow the car to ******* and once it gets there I'm told they can't cover it. I'm stuck paying a car note for a car that i can not use in under 1 year and the dealer can not help me resolve anything because they are closed. I've been without a car for 2 months and don't know what else to do.

July of 2021 I purchased a 2015 Chrslyer Town and Country along with a 18 month unlimited mile warranty in September of that same year. In October of 2022 the vehicle was diagnosis to need a engine replace. So I contacted the warranty company with my receipt and confirmation number of purchase. They told my that the dealership has to contact them with a invoice number, they could not use the info from me. That's when I found out the dealership is closed down with no further contact info. So now the parts company says they can only look up my warranty based on the dealership invoice number. My complaint is I have my receipt that I paid for the extended warranty and it does not say that I need the dealer invoice number to make my warranty valid. Now with the dealership closed down I need someone from Atlanta Auto Firm to provide me with the info so the parts company can handle my claim. And also contact the parts company so that they can get whatever info that they need from the dealership.

On 8/23/2022 I purchased a 2019 Dodge Ram **** DS Black from Atlanta Auto Firm, LLC. I put $3000 in cash down. The business committed to provide vehicle maintenance service to my vehicle and also an extended warranty. My radio is currently out and I have not received my tag. The business has dissolved as the lot is empty. The business has not returned any calls and no one is answering. The account number is *********.

The customers warranty can be used at any major dealership. The radio usually isnt a covered component. They can take the vehicle to any local dodge dealership to see what is covered.

      Hello

To whom this regards, this is response to my complaint I took out for my dodge ram 2019, My main issue isn't the radio, the problem is the car dealership where I acquired the truck from isnt in business anymore or is "temporarily" closed and the title information was not submitted. I signed the title at the time of purchase of the truck but the business failed to submit required documents needed.

On June 6,2022 I purchased a Cadillac Escalade from Atlanta Auto Firm, was told by *** to drive the truck a few days before having the emissions tested (which should have been done prior to the sell of this vehicle) On June 7,2022 the check engine light came on I called *** and explained this to him, he told me to bring the truck back to have his mechanic look at it after several days no call. I then called and spoke with *** again I was told by *** the mechanic was still working on the "problem" several days turned in weeks and avoided phone calls from *** and the Mechanic. I then went to the dealership to speak with him, again was told that they didn't know why the check engine light was on and was taking it to a Cadillac Dealership to have it looked at. Weeks turned into 2 months with continuous calls that went unresolved. *** sold me a car that he knew wasn't emissions ready.

We brought the vehicle to the Cadillac dealership to see what the issue was with the vehicle. Once it was diagnosed the vehicle was repaired. The vehicle passed Emmissions. The customer missed their first payment so the vehicle was repossessed by ******************.

I am rejecting this response because:

The 1st payment was not missed as I made the payment without having the car and Atlanta Auto Firm reimbursed me the $292.00, I paid because I didn't have the car, Atlanta Auto Firm did and had not given me an update besides we are still working on it.

This is truly a disappointing experience as *** was well aware that this situation could have been handled differently without the lies and run around.

      Sincerely,

      *****************************

On May 18 2022 I informed ******* from(Atlanta auto firm) that something was wrong with my car and that I needed it towed to their shop to find out what was wrong. He said someone would look at it on Saturday May 21 2022. Every time I texted and called ******* would give me excuses after excuses saying why no one has looked at my car. Than when they did, he claimed my warranty services only had two inspectors and they were backed log.Another lie. ******* also stated he put my claim in May but really didn't do it until June 5 2022. It is now July 7 2022 and my car still isn't fixed. ******* keeps lying and I'm tired of it. I have complained to Mr.Don the Manger of the dealership but he has been no help. I have VA and important Dr's ************ I need to go too. I ran out of money renting a car for over 30 days. I need my car fixed asap if you can't fix it than let the warranty people know. I need reimbursement for having to rent a car for over a month. Atlanta auto firm has had my car for over 49 days.

The warranty company is paying for repairs but not tear down. We are at the mercy of the warranty company. Customer is picking up the vehicle to take somewhere else.

The transaction occurred on June 27 2022. They tried to upsell me to a ****** Altima which was priced at ****** and said I was approved for it. I looked around I chose the 2011 toxic orange doge challenger coupe which they had priced around ****** on their site (I cant remember the exact figure, they took it down after I signed the contract)The deposit was initially **** but was lower to ****. I had only **** to deposit that day and they said I can pick it up when I bring the remaining 700. The manager used misdirection and switch and bait to hide the fact that he reported the vehicle sale price to his bank for ****** instead of the figure posted on their site and what was reinsured to me numerous times in our interaction. During the breakdown he skipped over the buyers order and focused my attention to retail installation contract. On their he highlighted the APR, Finance charge and amount financed. After his explanation I was left under the impression that the finance charge was the total cost of the car and that the amount financed was the loan given to the dealership for the car. At the time I didnt understand how with the APR I would have to pay ****** over the next five years. He reinsured me that I can refinance a year later if I make my payments on time and didnt feel the need to worry since I plan to pay the principle price as quick as I can. However after doing the APR math at home the total amount of payments still didnt make sense to me. I then went over the papers and saw the buyer option with the vehicle price listed at ******, a price that was never disclose me and wasnt as advertised. When I called the manager the next day he said the price on their site is the price for those paying full cash and the additional ***** were bank fees. I wanted to cancel the contract but the manager said what done is done and it is what it is. I called the bank who financed him and they said it was up to him to cancel it. Account number is *********

All paperwork, contracts and the buyers order were looked over and signed by the customer. There is no cooling off period in the ****************. The customer is an adult and signed legal documents to buy a vehicle. The additional charges are from the bank he financed with due to his credit history.

Bought a car from this dealership, not even a month later the engine seized up. I'm getting the run around on supposedly having a warranty on the vehicle. Call the warranty place and they say I don't have a warranty. Now I'm getting put on hold and transfered from this person to that person. I'm out of $1300.00 and basically $13,000 of what the is owed on the car. Can't operate the vehicle and it's like they don't care at all. They keep telling me I'll get a call back and never receive one. I have to call and get put right back on hold.

My service manager has been in contact with the customer. He did sign paperwork that the dealership is selling the vehicle as is to him but he did get an extended warranty with the deal. His vehicle is covered under warranty. We informed him that he can take the vehicle anywhere to get it fixed. He says he just wants us to buy the car back from him. Hes going to bring it in for us to fix it.
