I purchased the summer program for my child. He is******** old and we thought this would be a great experience to get him in to something new. The class size was extremely large. No one bothered to learn his name. He felt extreme anxiety and nervousness in the new setting and the whole experience was disheartening. He went to a total of 4 classes out of the 10 week program we purchased. The classes were over 20 kids. The last class the instructor had them break up many times in groups and perform different kicks that he had never been taught. He immediately panicked and felt so overwhelmed he ran to me and cried. The instructor ignored it. I can understand it might just be my child and we aren't asking for special treatment. All I know is I paid a substantial amount of money and I think that deserves at least a little bit of respect or empathy or something. He sat out the whole class we watched, and no one ever came to talk to me didn't say anything to us just ignored us. Next class time my son begged me not to take him, and he said he never wanted to go back. I looked through the website and found the refund policy stating ALL online purchases for the memberships would be refunded within 30 days if dissatisfied as long as an email was sent to them. I immediately sent an email and explained the situation sent the proof of payment and made the point to note it was within the 30 days. I received an email back saying they do not give refunds because any money paid to them in non refundable. I am honestly in shock because as clear as day on the website it states they do! I will take the money as a loss in knowing that I am not forcing my son to go somewhere he doesn't feel comfortable or welcome. I'm sure some people love it, but it was not for us and with how they handle dissatisfied parent/student I wouldn't want to give them another cent. I work in a customer service environment in Management, and I would hope they see this and really take it to heart. If they see that their policies don't align with what people sign versus what it states on their own website hopefully something changes and they adjust it accordingly.
