I placed an order to surprise my wife. She works less than 100 yards away from the store location. I made sure to read all delivery policies before placing this order, especially since it was the day after ********** **** The policy assured me that because it was to be delivered to a business that it would be made as late as 5pm. This was not a problem, as her office does not close until 6pm. I was then informed that they failed to deliver the product and that the recipient would be contacted to arrange a new delivery date. The product is perishable. So, at this point it has been more than 24 hours since the order was placed and not myself nor my wife received any contact to schedule a new delivery time. To top it all off, I spent my morning attempting to be considerate and understanding and call the store myself. I spent 10-15 minutes on hold with no answer several times. My wife then tried to call to see what our options were and nothing. She then spent time from her lunch break to go to the establishment in hopes of resolving the issue. She walked in still on hold with the store and there was an employee just sitting there doing nothing. She then asked about the order and it was in the back and not on a truck attempting delivery. She asked for some form of compensation for the complete inconvenience of it all and was told "no" by the employee. She then spoke to a manager who gave excuses that they "aren't allowed to take calls when a customer is in the lobby" and there wasn't. Manager said they have phones in the back that they take orders on(irrelevant to the issue). In speaking with the manager, the manager said they only attempt to deliver again after they make contact, but neither of us were contacted at all. Now, my wife has since picked up her gift that was to be a surprise, experienced terrible customer service, and has less than fresh perishable goods from a business that failed on their end.******** XX:XXam 2 boxes of fruit and balloons. $134.97
