      I found this dentist from my insurance company in-network providers (Anthem). I chose this doctor because he is an african american doctor and i once read an article that african americans get better treatment, better care for when they visit their own kind (african american). The low rating are for the staff incompetent, unprofessional and gross negligence. Long story short, i've had several procedures done and they overcharged me i paid over $500 , when the insurance paid out per the *** it clearly shows i overpaid by approx $251, i have spoken with the front desk ***** (Caucasian) billing lady and another lady who answer the phone with glass (****** or something like that African American, front desk lady) . I have been waiting going on one month and half for a refund. When i call them to see when willi receive it should only take 2-3 **** **** play the cat and mouse game, place me on hold forever tell me ***** (She's the one who handles billing) isn't here, she's at lunch, she left early.Today i called 4 times while at work (I have a corporate job, i cannot afford to sit and play phone tag) they purposely dodged my calls lied about returning my call earlier this week. The dentist is himself is very knowledgable, kind, sweet, charming and conscientious (good looking as well, no offense to him just giving compliments when its deserved) these ladies however are from hell! If you decide to go here better have your own insurance quote the rate because they will overcharge you than play oblivious as if they do not know what is going on. Because of the LACK of follow-up i will never visit this dentist office again sadly. I thought I found a great dentist in this vicinity but the fact the Dentist is aware of this and hasn't taken proper action to rectify it makes me feel as if he know what is going on and simply doesn't care.

      I came to this place of business seeing care for a broken tooth on February 1st, 2022. I was advised that it would need a root canal and a crown. There were also some other teeth that needed to be taken care of so I scheduled all of the services to be done on February 17th. The estimate was about $3100. At the time, no antibiotics nor pain medicine was given to me for my broken and exposed tooth. I arrive at my appointment expecting a root canal, and to my surprise the Dentist informs me that root canals are not performed at this office and I will have to be referred out. I waited over two weeks for a procedure that they scheduled me for, but they don't offer. I leave for a second and come back to get a referral, something that in my opinion should've been given two weeks prior, and the manager tells me that I will be charged for a broken appointment fee, which she takes out of my HSA account. I never authorized her to do so. I never signed anything nor told her that it was okay to take it.
