Back in January of 2022, I was rear-ended by a man driving a RoofCrafters truck. We were on highway 95, near ******, Georgia. I suffered from terrible whiplash that I had to get immediately treated for at the ** when I reached ************, **. I received 2 medications and was given an injection. Needless to say, we have medical bills and bills for the repairs made to our vehicle, which we submitted to RoofCrafters in March. We have tried for the last 3 months to talk to someone at Roofcrafters in regards to our medical and auto repair bills, Supposedly, all of the information we sent to Roofcrafters was sent to our contacts supervisors. Three months later, we have still heard nothing in regards to our situation. This is not the kind of company I would want to do business with.

************* was asked to send in invoices to be reimbursed and did so, however, the documents showed us that it was paid through insurance, not out of pocket. She has been instructed to have her insurance company contact ** so we can reimburse the correct paying party

My insurance company suggested I get another bid since RoofCrafters was the highest bid.I did and decided to go with another company. I texted both of the other roofers. One was very polite. RoofCrafters sent me a **** for an inspection fee and insurance administrative fee total $747.67.First time I've heard of any contractor charging for an inspection or checking with insurance company.So I checked with my attorney and they can't charge.Thought I was a better judge of people, guess not.***** K No stars, negative experience

We do not charge for inspections. We charge for services after a client signs a contract for said services. You also communicated nothing to us after doing so. My team started working on your claim and you let people waste their time. You could have contacted us before work started to let us know you were being manipulated by your insurance company. Im sorry that your insurance company had you do their dirty work to find a cheap contractor so they could pay less to repair your home. Insurance companies want you to find the cheapest contractor you can, of course. Why would they want to pay out a lot of money on your claim? When you get into a car accident, do you shop around for the cheapest body shop you can find, or do you take it to the best body shop so that your car can hopefully look as good as it once did? I can understand that you are upset about your invoice, however, a contract is a legal document that you signed. You had my team start working and then you decided to go cheaper for your insurance companies pockets to be spared. I think you will find billion dollar profits if you check their earnings for last year. We are a family owned business that has been servicing this area for nearly two decades. We have helped thousands of families. If you know you are not a good judge of character, I would advise you to not sign legal documents without consulting someone first, in the future. It is unfair for the employees that you put to work to have to abruptly stop because you do not know what you are doing. Then post a bad review without all the details.
