      2-19-2024 I was contacted by this location regarding a payment on an account that was allegedly cancelled to which unknown to myself the account was not and the store itself stated and showed the account the item was never set to be delivered or received. I was then contacted by the Aarons store to which I have a legitimate account with who stated that my payment had not been received I then questioned the charge and have yet to be refunded to this date. I have went as far as to contact the supposed District Manager who has now claimed the store issued a refund 2/29/2024. The refund was never sent. I have contacted my bank multiple times, to which they have no record of the refund being issued. The District Manager has been given copies of transactions from 2-19-2024 to present to prove the money was never refunded to my account as claimed. It is obvious this store is committing fraud and associates are not closing accounts and pocketing the money. The Store Manager has been very rude regarding the situation as well as the District Manager pretty much telling me the refund has been issued not our problem in so many words, This store needs to be closed down or turned over to new Management .

      The agreement was $75 which is off my disability 900 and then when I had a job working for ******* delivery but I have severe identity stuff going on so in February I went in there and told her that and she said no problem what can you come up with I told her I could come up with $30 she said fine I paid that and then I told her I can only afford a $50 a month cuz now I'm on my disability I'm working off my disability I have other bills she said that would be fine they can work with me on that they have been harassing me every single day they need to stop I paid what it said to pay online it was 50 something dollars I paid it last month I've been on time every month but I have severe identity stuff going on I can only pay that amount I can't pay a 75 dollars because I'm not working no more so it's going to be off my disability but they don't want that don't they understand they need to leave me alone I have enough going on right now and I paid what it said online..

      Aarons has made a total of 4 unauthorized debits from my bank card. I feel there should be some sort of consequence this time. I have had to already before get BBB involved with a similar issue in the past l. I just dont feel it should be ok to continuously make the same mistakes without having to face consequences.       I have a lease with Aarons Lease #E2639443, I fell seriously ill, and had to leave my job as of Jan 2024, I was continuing to pay while I was out on medical leave, even with reduced income. I am about 3 months behind right now, and I have filed a claim for my payment to be moved to end of lease or payment vacation to catch me up, but I consistent get missed phone calls, when I have sent emails in saying I am unable to speak on the phone due to my illness I do not understand why this is so complicated for someone to just assist me. At the same time the card that I was using was lost, so when I goto update the card, it is asking for $248.23, which I can not pay, I can continue the monthly payments, but I am not asking for so much, I just can't not speak on phone at this point due to medical reasons, I even sent in medical docs with my member claims

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I did speak briefly to the area manager, but after his discussion, I was unable to make it to the store, after they conveniently told me that day was the last day I can do this to rewrite a new lease, I was told I was still contagious and needed to quarantine.  So I am not sure what the situation is, I have expressed to them I can make the monthly payments and can make the payment over the phone, I do not see why I need to be there in person, it is 2024, I can do things electronically.

      Ive been a costumer of Aarons since Jan 2023, in this time Ive had some *** and downs with jobs resulting in some late payments here and there sometimes even up to three weeks late. This week an employee showed up to my house in my gated community asking for payment I let them know it would be paid on the first which was three days or so later and called it in. Never have they come to my house before I have been ill and unemployed since October so I am house bound Im here all day I saw a charge on my account when I made the payment for a home visit, when I called the business I was told they can come as many times as they please even one day after a missed payment and that theyve come before. Which is not true, upon inspection of my payment history I saw Ive been charged for home visits four times in the past few months when nobody has ever come no paper has been left on my door nothing. I also noticed the paid off amount is less now than it was a few months ago and I dont understand why if Ive made more payments since the last time I checked. Im very unhappy with this service and what has been happening, and the blatant lies from the employees.

      This company has took $223.00 dollars of my hard Earned money and refuses to give it back. I order a bed from this company (Aaron's) then I changed my mind the next day. I gave them my card information to oder the bed and they took $223.00 from my account with out sending me any merchandise. Cause I changed my mind! It has been over 2 months and they have not put my money back on my card yet! I have bills and need my money.

      Back in October, me, my brother, and our friend went to Aaron's to get furniture for our newly purchased house. Our friend was a renter. We had to do 2 accounts for Aaron's so we can get the stuff we need. When I made the down payment I use my One Card. I then used my Cashapp card for the payments. We then got a grace ****** of one month.One month came by and I needed to switch my card but couldn't as I was busy. However, I did call in December and paid the amount I needed to make up my payments, extended my grace ****** until January 4th, and switched the card to my First Commonwealth card.January 4th came by and I noticed my bank account went into the negatives. I kept a budget plan and with the amount I owed, it shouldn't of brought me to the negatives. So I looked at my transactions and I noticed that an extra $60.97 was being taken out. I then later looked at previous transactions and noticed it was being taken out since November 10th. It happened to be on my friend's account and I ain't sure how. So, I called to remove my card off and they did (I have witnesses) and it was still being taken out so my mom called this time and they said it was off. So I was forced to closed my debit card. At that point they were stealing and they had lack of documentation of how the card got on my friend's account.My card is still currently closed and I am deeply afraid to give Aaron's my new card information.

      On Jan. 3 2024 I rented a refrigerator from Aaron 's for about 2 months when I requested for them to come and pick it up they would not take it back, because they said that I was purchasing with the action to buy, but I thought I was in a short term rental. ***** the manager told me that he would not take the refrigerator back because it wasn't in sellable condition. He gave me some options like: take off 12 months, me selling the refrigerator for ****** to someone. He told me and my sister that the other option is that I get it exterminated at his expense, and the company would pay for it. I didn't like any of the option and went for far help. My sister took me to an organization to help me and ***** refuse all the options he told me, plus he want me to paid for extermination of the refrigerator. I really need to move out of this house and they have not came and got their property. He told the organization that it's possible he can pick it up on Friday, but he's not sure. He will call. He know I am concern about my credit, because I would like get a vehicle and return the refrigerator. If they do not pickup there property it will be part of the house sell. I have reach out to the corporate off and as of today this problem has not been solved. I am waiting on a call now from ***********************.

      We have inspected ******************** refrigerator and determined that it is not returnable in its present condition. Accordingly, we are not able to take possession of the refrigerator at this time. Our Regional Manager spoke with ****************** and provided her with multiple resolution options, but ****************** did not accept any of the available options. If ****************** is able to resolve the issue, we are open to reconsidering accepting the return of the refrigerator from ******************.  ******************** lease agreement explains that she is responsible for any damage to the leased merchandise that is not attributable to normal wear and tear or Acts of God. It is our understanding that the damage to the refrigerator is not the result of normal wear and tear or Acts of God and therefore it is the responsibility of ******************.
