On or about the 09thMay2022, Mr. *** referred Mr. ******** Burnett. I first got in contact with Burnett on or about 18th May2022. Burnett, my wife and I met talk and discussed the layout and design of the swimming pool along with the original and final cost, in the amount of $73,500.00. On the 25th of May around 13:00 to start up the project he was a no-show. 8thAug, pull permit ($1,000,00.). I'm asking Burnett for the permits, building, and disturbance/ site engineering, and structure engineering, 15th Aug, No permit. 18thAug my wife and I met Burnett for first payment of $36,264.00 (WT). To cover the Pool shell ($16,00.00), ADV ********* Pack ($7,500.00), Spa upgrade ($10,250.00). 31stAug permit approve. 3rd of Sep, Burnett work crew shows up to work without him. They move dirty and assemble the pool kit (installed wrong) and drilling the panels(damage). Holes were predrilled no drilling was needed. All work stops 7thSep, for Burnett to inspect, he agrees it was assemble wrong. On or about 11th,27thOct and 8th Nov, material was order for stone&gravel. Also, 8thNov Burnett text asking for$10,000.00(wt) to pay the Vendor. on or about 28thDec My wife and I received a notice and Claim of Lien against our home. I called and talked with **************, the vendor, he explained. I then text Burnett on 5thJan2023 to have it paid by the 10thJan, however it was not paid in full until the 16th Mar. Wife and I met with Burnett to discuss on moving forward. Burnett stated to us that he will complete our pool and stone wall by the end of April. 15thMar met with Burnett's Structure engineer, who stated, the house structure has shifted and needed to be stabilized due to shifting of the dirt. Received call from Burnett, I stated to him talk with his engineer. A second call came from Burnett indicating he is not responsible for damage. And no more communication unless through an attorney or courts. Project is still incomplete as of today 21st Mar 2023.
