I placed a bet and the odds were +134, -135, and -128. And the final total of the odds were +254. That should not be the total amount.Business Response

I deposited a total of 120 dollars with prizepicks, verified my account fully through their internal system, and started playing from the dates 7/19-7/23. I was able to successfully withdraw 20 dollars on 7/24 morning. That day (7/24) I made 405 dollars off of the initial 120 I invested. When going to withdraw everything moved smoothly but a couple hours later I was banned. When contacting the support team they essentially told me I broke the terms of service and that I could file a dispute that would take weeks to figure out. They also said they would seize my funds which is ridiculous since they allowed me to use the account and deposit until I actually made money.Business Response

Hello *****, It is your responsibility to adhere to our Terms of Service in which you agreed to. You have created and operated 4 total accounts. In Terms of Service section 5.1 it states "Each User may establish only one (1) Account." This is a clear violation of our terms. You have also charge backed multiple deposits on one of your four accounts, which is another violation of our Terms. The nature of these violations has been deemed excessive in which case we have hereby deactivated and permanently closed your PrizePicks account. Any future attempts to create additional accounts will be found. The account(s) will be deactivated and funds deposited into the account will be seized. Terms of Service section 5.1 also states "In the event that PrizePicks, in its sole and unlimited discretion, determines that you have committed MultiAccounting, then, in addition to any other rights that PrizePicks may have at law, equity or created herein, PrizePicks reserves the right to: (i) suspend or terminate any or all of your Accounts (and all other Accounts associated with the MultiAccounting); (ii) cancel any pending or in-progress entries made on the Accounts associated with the MultiAccounting; (iii) demand and/or seize all funds earned by you by participating in Contests during the time period of the MultiAccounting; (iv) terminate, withhold, or revoke the awarding of any prizes, including prizes that you have already withdrawn from your Account; (v) seize or remove all promotional balances, bonuses or free entries previously awarded to each Account(s); (vi) seize all real-money funds in the Account(s) at issue or earned by the User(s) at issue during the course of MultiAccounting; and (vii) report you to any relevant authorities for violation of state laws and regulations."Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
I had two of my accounts hacked around 3 years ago and charged back purchases made without my authorization which i stated to your support 3 years ago in which no one decided to help me. Instead, I went to my bank which charged back all of the confirmed purchases that were considered fraud. Once again, even three years ago I didnt charge back all of the purchases and only charged back the ones without authorization. On top of this I have only had three accounts including the new one and 3 years ago your tos was different and the accounts were deleted/deactivated.
Sincerely,

*****, you have never reached out about an account being hacked nor is their any indication of any of your accounts being hacked. We have reviewed all of your chat logs and you have never reached out about an account being hacked or an unauthorized deposit. You charge backed your deposit after you used those funds and those lineups lost. After those lineups lost, you charge backed those deposits and create a new account a few days later. Again, you have created 4 different account which is a violation of our ************* which states "Each User may establish only one (1) Account." The nature of these violations has been deemed excessive in which case we have hereby deactivated and permanently closed your PrizePicks accounts. While we do update our Terms, Section 5.1 Account Misuse, MultiAccounting, Account Sharing has always been in our Terms of Service. Also your newest account was created two days ago on July 23, 2025.
In the event that PrizePicks, in its sole and unlimited discretion, determines that you have committed MultiAccounting, then, in addition to any other rights that PrizePicks may have at law, equity or created herein, PrizePicks reserves the right to: (i) suspend or terminate any or all of your Accounts (and all other Accounts associated with the MultiAccounting); (ii) cancel any pending or in-progress entries made on the Accounts associated with the MultiAccounting; (iii) demand and/or seize all funds earned by you by participating in Contests during the time period of the MultiAccounting; (iv) terminate, withhold, or revoke the awarding of any prizes, including prizes that you have already withdrawn from your Account; (v) seize or remove all promotional balances, bonuses or free entries previously awarded to each Account(s); (vi) seize all real-money funds in the Account(s) at issue or earned by the User(s) at issue during the course of MultiAccounting; and (vii) report you to any relevant authorities for violation of state laws and regulations.
Any future attempts to create additional accounts will be found. The account(s) will be deactivated and funds deposited into the account will be seized. You can review our Terms of Service here: ************************************************************************;
The previous Terms are also in this link which you are more than welcomed to review and you will notice that this section 5.1 has remained the same. Thank you.Customer Answer

Business Name: SidePrize LLC (doing business as PrizePicks)Date of Transaction: July 20, 2025 Amount Paid: $25 Issue Type: Incorrect settlement of fantasy sports entry ?Complaint Summary:On July 20, 2025, I entered a paid contest on PrizePicks (operated by SidePrize LLC), involving a Birdies or Better Matchup between ******* ****** and ********** ************ during Round 3 of The Open Championship. The wager was that ****** would record more birdies than Bezuidenhout in that specific round.PrizePicks graded the entry as a loss, first claiming ****** recorded 0 birdies. After escalation, they changed their statement, saying both players had 2, which still resulted in a loss based on their rules. Both statements are factually incorrect. The facts:******* ****** recorded 2 birdies in Round 3 (on holes 5 and 7).********** ************ recorded 0 birdies in Round 3.This data is publicly confirmed by:The Open Official Website **** Player Scorecard PGA Tour Leaderboard ShotLink, the **** official data provider Despite me providing these sources, PrizePicks support refused to acknowledge the mistake and maintained their position that the score will stand. I was never offered a refund or correction despite clearly showing their stat provider was wrong.Additional Context:Even if the wager were somehow based on Round 4 instead (which it wasnt), both players recorded 2 birdies, which by their own rules would result in a push, not a loss. Across Rounds 14, no valid round supports the outcome they enforced.Attempts to Resolve:I contacted live chat and they use falsely evidence and they ignored after.I provided official links and screenshots.I requested escalation, which was granted, but no resolution was offered. The business claimed the scoring was correct and refused further discussion.Business Response

Hello ********, you seem to be very confused here so allow me to break this down for you. In *** golf they play a total of 4 rounds starting with round 1 on Thursday and ending with round 4 on Sunday. You placed your lineup on Sunday July 20th at 6:20AM ET. This projection was for round 4 which was played later that morning on Sunday July 20th. You did not place this lineup for round 3 as you stated here in this complaint since that was already played and completed on Saturday July 19th. The Birdies or Better Matchup projection is defined as: "A head to head matchup of two athletes competing to record a higher number of birdies or better than their opponent. The athlete listed in the PrizePicks square will subtract their opponents score from their own score." ****** and Bezuidenhout both had 2 birdies or better during their round 4 on Sunday July 20th. 2 birdies or better from ****** minus 2 birdies or better from Bezuidenhout = 0. This projection was scored correctly, Franklin.

Thank you for your detailed explanation. I now fully understand that the projection was specific to Round 4 and not the full tournament. However, Id like to respectfully raise a few remaining concerns:
Inconsistent Support Communication: Initially, I was told that ******* ****** had no birdies, which was incorrect. Later communications confirmed he had 2. This inconsistency led to confusion and mistrust in how stats were being reviewed.
Lack of Clarity at the Time of Entry: Nowhere in the PrizePicks app was it made absolutely clear that the matchup was based only on Round 4. Since *** is a 4-round format, it is reasonable for users to interpret projections as based on total performance unless clearly stated otherwise.Customer Misinformation: I was advised by support to not rely on third-party stat providers, yet those sources (e.g., ****) match PrizePicks final determination. The initial misinformation from live chat made it harder to trust the resolution process.
While I now understand the scoring, I hope you acknowledge the poor communication, confusion, and inconsistent guidance I experienced throughout this dispute.
I kindly ask you to consider a goodwill refund or site credit given the circumstances. This isnt about the outcome itself, but the lack of clarity and the mishandling of my concerns. If this cannot be resolved, I may be forced to explore further consumer protection channels.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Sincerely,

Hello ********, I'm sorry for the initial miscommunication from our customer support representative however they did correct themselves moments later and provided you with the accurate information. The round for these projections were stated on the board as well as the lineup builder before submitting your lineup. It is not reasonable for a projection that is on the board on Sunday morning to be for the entire tournament since 3 rounds of the tournament have already been completed. As stated in our help center PrizePicks only uses stats provided by official league sources or trusted third-party providers. This projection was scored correctly and our team confirmed that, we are not able to refund a losing lineup.Customer Answer

Complaint: 23627458
Dear PrizePicks,
Thank you for your response and for clarifying that the projection was for Round 4. I now understand how the scoring works, but I want to express why this situation felt misleading from a customer standpoint.
At the time I placed the entry, there was no clear indication that it was only for Round 4. With previous rounds already played, it gave the impression that overall tournament performance might factor in. This led to confusion and affected how I made my pick. On top of that, support initially gave me incorrect information, which made it harder to trust the process.
Im not asking for a refund just because the pick lost Im asking for a fair resolution due to the unclear presentation and mishandled support. Even a small site credit would show good faith.
Thanks for your time and understanding,

I submitted two PrizePicks lineups and tried to cancel both within the 5-minute window as allowed by their policy. With 11 seconds left, I clicked the Cancel Lineup option, and the app showed an error message instead of canceling.I contacted support and was told by a *** named Johan ******** received an error message while trying to cancel your lineupHe acknowledged the system failed but said, Sadly, theres nothing much we can do here, Im not gonna lie.He refused to explain why my entry was not eligible for cancellation, citing vague internal reasons like player combinations or refund history, even though I have no refund history.Additionally, the lineup was presented as a regular *** contest but was actually based on the All-Star Game, which was not disclosed. This kind of mis***resentation caused me to submit plays I never would have made.I am requesting a full refund of $25.40 CASH. Their system failed to uphold their own cancellation policy, and they mis***resented the contest. I have screenshots and chat transcripts proving all of this.Business Response

Hello ******, it appears you were attempting to cancel these lineups after projections have already started. You cannot cancel a lineup if projections in that lineup have already started. This was in the *** category with the Teams listed as NL and AL, I'm not sure how that is misleading in any way as this clearly states the league and the two teams. The date was also clearly stated on these projections and this was the only *** game on that date.Initial Complaint

I placed a valid entry on PrizePicks for a player performance line that was listed and offered on their platform. My entry was accepted and locked in by their system. After the game concluded, and based on publicly available statistics, the pick should have resulted in a win or at least been graded accordingly.Instead, PrizePicks denied the payout, claiming there was not enough information to verify the result. They offered no specific explanation of what information was missing or why the pick was offered in the first place if it couldnt be properly scored. I requested clarification and proof of missing data and was only given vague responses.I find this unacceptable and unfair. If a platform is offering a bet or player prop, it is their responsibility to ensure that the line is based on verifiable data. As a user, I placed the entry in good faith and relied on their listed lines and projections. Denying a payout due to internal data sourcing issues is unethical.I am seeking a full payout of the entry as originally played, and a full explanation and documentation of why the entry was voided or denied.Business Response

Hello ********** I understand your frustration regarding this, however our scoring provider could not verify the scoring details for this match. I hope you understand that since we could not accurately receive the scoring details for this match, these projections resulted in a DNP. This is a rare situation and an unfortunate circumstance, but the stats could not be verified for this match. As our rules state, PrizePicks has the right to cancel any active lineup at any time at their sole discretion.Customer Answer

Hello ********** I understand your frustration regarding this, however our scoring provider could not verify the scoring details for this match. As a result these projections for this match were DNP'd. In accordance with our rules, if we do not have sufficient scoring details for a match they will be DNP. Our rules also states that PrizePicks has the right to cancel any active lineup at any time at their sole discretion. I signed up for prize picks 2 days ago upon me moving from ******** to **. I had to move because my father had a PTSD episode and tried to burn the house down with my mom and I trapped inside. All of my identifying documents, clothes, and everything of value to me was destroyed. My friend recommended I deposit 10$ in prizepicks and that they would give me 50$ in bonus just for the 10. Thus, I did, but now that I have finally won something, they are withholding my winnings and this is so inconvenient! In told them I have a picture of my ID but they said they wont be sufficient and my new one wont be here for 10 business days!Business Response

I am filing this complaint against PrizePicks (SidePrize, LLC) because my withdrawal requests via ***** keep being rejected for no valid reason. My account is fully verified, and I have not violated any of their terms of service.Despite this, PrizePicks support repeatedly tells me I need a successful deposit through Venmo or ****** in order to withdraw. This makes no sense because I have followed all of their procedures. I have contacted support multiple times, but Im given inconsistent answers, chats are ended without resolution, and my funds remain blocked. This situation feels unfair and appears to be an attempt to delay or prevent me from accessing my money.Desired Outcome:Immediate approval and processing of my Venmo withdrawal A clear explanation of any legitimate requirements for withdrawal A commitment that my account will not be subject to arbitrary withdrawal restrictionsBusiness Response
Date: 07/10/2025
Hello ******, It looks like you have not made a successful Venmo deposit so that method is not eligible for withdrawals until you make a successful deposit with it. You have only deposited with a prepaid card and credit cards which are not eligible withdrawal methods. As our help center states, ?You can request a withdrawal to any bank account, ****** account, ***** account, or debit card that you have previously used to deposit funds into your PrizePicks account. You have not made a successful deposit with any of these methods. If you wish to withdrawal to one of them, you will need to make a successful deposit with that method first.Customer Answer
Date: 07/10/2025
Complaint: 23561805
I am rejecting this response because:PrizePicks continues to deny my withdrawal based on an arbitrary and unclear requirement that is not consistently enforced and was never transparently disclosed at the time of my deposit.
They claim that I must deposit using the same method I wish to withdraw to (Venmo, ******* etc.), even though my account is fully verified and I have complied with all general terms. This condition is not made explicitly clear before depositing, and it essentially traps users funds unless they can navigate an undocumented and selectively applied policy.
Furthermore, I used a legitimate, accepted payment method (credit/prepaid card) to fund my account, and yet they say I cannot withdraw because of it despite the fact that their system allowed it in the first place. If these deposit methods are not eligible for withdrawal, users should be blocked or warned before funding their account. Thats basic platform transparency.
At no point during deposit was I clearly told, Depositing with a prepaid card will prevent you from withdrawing funds unless you re-deposit with a separate method. This is not user error this is a system designed to cause confusion and restrict withdrawals.
I am still unable to access my winnings and am requesting:
Immediate approval of a Venmo withdrawal
Written clarification of any legitimate, consistently enforced withdrawal requirements
An assurance that PrizePicks is not misleading users into depositing via methods that block them from retrieving their money
Until this is resolved, I will continue pursuing escalation through the ***** payment processors, and state regulators.
Thank you.

I accept this only for the fact I did finally receive my $189.17, its unacceptable that it took over 8 failed withdrawal attempts and weeks of delays only to be resolved after I filed a BBB complaint.
This wasnt a glitch it was neglect. And the fact that support ignored me until I escalated says everything.
I will be sharing my full experience across social media and public platforms to warn others. Consumers deserve to know the truth behind your support and withdrawal process.

Hey So I'm filing a complaint against PRIZE PICKS the sports betting website. I recently just got into it and I deposited $760 on to the account. And I played for a couple of days it was pretty fun and my roommate I told him to start playing so he made an account but we are both originally from ****** and the only method of depositing funds on the website is using ****** for Canadians. They do not support Canadian credit cards or Canadian banks at all. So thinking nothing of it I deposited on to his account using my ****** since he does not have one and he paid me back. And next thing I know I get banned from the website, with no explanation at all and I spent literally hours contacting them to try to get an answer and I submitted forms they requested and still no response. I just want my money back or to be unbanned this is not right, they should have made it clear and I'm a student and they took over $1000 from me now.Business Response

On January 3, 2025, I discovered I was unable to access my PrizePicks account. I contacted the support team and received a generic message stating that I had violated the Terms of Servicespecifically Section 5.1: Account Misuse, Multi-Accounting, and Account Sharing, alleging that the violation was excessive and malicious in nature, resulting in permanent deactivation and a ban on creating any future accounts. However, no specific explanation or evidence was ever provided. Additionally, I was never told what specific actions I took that triggered this violation. The message included broad examples of improper conduct such as money laundering, VPN use, or falsifying payment info, but none of these violations applied to me. I requested clarification but was directed to submit a formal appeal, with the guarantee that I would receive further clarity during that process. I submitted the appeal as requested, explaining exactly what happened. Unable to provide much an argument since I didnt know what I was action I was appealing exactly. The appeal process was not transparent or helpful. In January 10, despite PrizePicks assurance that the appeal would provide clarity, I received no further explanation. Instead, I was sent a second generic email that simply repeated that I violated their terms and my appeal was denied. I immediately replied back that very same day with a detailed response raising concerns about the lack of transparency, possible identity theft, and reiterating my $300 pending withdrawal and $50+ account balance. I even asked if there was any further way to pursue this, but I have never received a response back to this day.I was not given a fair opportunity to understand nor dispute what I was accused of. At the time of deactivation, I had a $300 pending withdrawal that I have yet to receive and I had at least $50 in my account balance. While I am not contesting their right to close my account, I am requesting a refund of my $350.Business Response

Hello *****, It is your responsibility as a member to adhere to our Terms of Service in which you agreed to. You have created and operated more than one account. You have also self referred yourself to exploit our referral bonus. The two emails on your accounts are: *************************************** and ******************************. This is a violation of our Terms of Service section 5.1 Account Misuse, MultiAccounting, Account Sharing which states "Each User may establish only one (1) Account." Also included in this section is "Users may not use, direct, or control any Account other than their own for any purpose, including, but not limited to avoiding Account limits, suspensions, responsible gaming related limitations, evading other Account restriction(s) whether self-imposed or imposed by PrizePicks, or abusing promotional or bonus offerings, such as referral bonuses, for which each Account is eligible. The Account misuses and duplications described in this Section 5 shall collectively be referred to as MultiAccounting. MultiAccounting is a violation of these Terms and a violation of state law or regulation in many of the states in which PrizePicks operates." You have violated this term by creating and operating more than one account and abusing the referral bonus by referring you own account.
The extent of this violation is considered excessive therefore deeming your account ineligible for reactivation. Here is a link to our Terms of Service: *******************************************************************Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: PrizePicks has failed to provide a valid legal or contractual justification for seizing the $350 in real-money funds that were in my account at the time of deactivation. While they cited a general violation of their Terms of Service, they did not notify me of any specific issue until months later, and they provided no clear evidence of misconduct on my part.
Furthermore, I did not knowingly engage in any multi-accounting or referral abuse, and I have reason to believe my account may have been compromised due to unauthorized access to my mobile device. Despite repeated attempts to clarify and resolve the issue, including a formal appeal and a follow-up email sent on January 10, I received no response until I filed this complaint.
Even if PrizePicks believes it had the right to close my account, that does not give them the right to retain legally deposited or earned funds. The $300 withdrawal that was already pending, along with the remaining balance of at least $50, represent my personal fundsnot promotional creditsand should be returned to me immediately.Business Response

*****, It is your responsibility to adhere to our Terms of Service in which you agreed to. As stated in our previous response you violated Terms of Service section 5.1 Account Misuse, MultiAccounting, Account Sharing by creating and operating multiple accounts. You have also self referred yourself further violating this section by abusing our referral bonus. As stated in this Terms of Service section 5.1 "In the event that PrizePicks, in its sole and unlimited discretion, determines that you have committed MultiAccounting, then, in addition to any other rights that PrizePicks may have at law, equity or created herein, PrizePicks reserves the right to: (i) suspend or terminate any or all of your Accounts (and all other Accounts associated with the MultiAccounting); (ii) cancel any pending or in-progress entries made on the Accounts associated with the MultiAccounting; (iii) demand and/or seize all funds earned by you by participating in Contests during the time period of the MultiAccounting; (iv) terminate, withhold, or revoke the awarding of any prizes, including prizes that you have already withdrawn from your Account; (v) seize or remove all promotional balances, bonuses or free entries previously awarded to each Account(s); (vi) seize all real-money funds in the Account(s) at issue or earned by the User(s) at issue during the course of MultiAccounting; and (vii) report you to any relevant authorities for violation of state laws and regulations."
We have determined you have committed MultiAccounting by creating and operating more than one account and also abusing our referral bonus by self referring your own account. In accordance of our terms your accounts were terminated and your funds were seized. These consequences are clearly outlined in this section of our Terms. I am rejecting this response because: PrizePicks continues to rely on broad Terms of Service language to justify withholding $350 in real-money funds that I legally deposited and/or earned. However, citing internal discretion under Section 5.1 does not entitle PrizePicks to seize customer funds without providing evidence, due process, or proof of intentional misconduct. I was never shown such proof, nor given any opportunity to properly dispute the claim before my funds were taken.
The company has also failed to consider that unauthorized access to my mobile device may have contributed to activity that triggered their system. Regardless, I am not contesting the account closureI am only seeking the return of my rightful funds, which were pending withdrawal and held on my account at the time of deactivation.
PrizePicks response reflects a one-sided interpretation of their Terms, but does not address the legal or ethical obligation to return customer funds when no fraud has been proven. If this matter is not resolved, I will pursue formal complaints through all applicable state and federal regulatory channels, including the Texas Attorney General and the *************************************
