I recently submitted a return and the gift card amount doesn't match what I was told I would receive. When I contacted Icon Swim via email (because their phone number listed on their site doesn't work) I was told that because the items I purchased were part of the sitewide sale for $10 there was a 50% restocking fee. This isn't listed on the receipt for the return or in their return policy. I asked for the amount to be changed and was told the gift card amount would not be changed to reflect the correct amount. This should've at least been written somewhere for me to access so I could have made an informed decision. I would've just kept the items and given them away instead of losing money to this company. That gift card will not be used because I will not shop with Icon Swim again.

I ordered two swimsuits from IconSwin for $10 each on 9/9/21. I received the order 9/13/21. They were too small so I returned the suits on 9/15/21 using priority mail. I returned the two swimsuits with the intentions of exchanging them for a larger size. However the gift card I got in return was only for $10. I contacted the site inquiring where the rest of my refund was. In response they told me that those items were "on sale" and this subject to a 50% restocking fee. I followed up by sending them screenshots of the online product description and no where did it say they were listed as on sale. The response I then received was that the entire site had been on sale. Something I know to be false because I browsed the entire inventory before placeing my order. The respondent the proceeds to tell me that any $10 items were subject to the 50% restocking fee. In the return policy that I received with my order there was no mention made of this. Only that the product must be returned within 7 days if delivery and unworn. This feels fraudulent in my opinion. Had I know that I would've just kept the suits that were only slightly too small. Not to mention pretty much every item on their site is $10 essentially making everything "unreturnable."Very misleading return policy and poor customer service. Won't be spending anymore of my money here.
