I have not contacted this company nor solicited their phone calls in any way! I have never taken a loan of any kind whatsoever. As a matter of fact I am considered a "ghost" when it comes to credit checks. Stop calling me. I dont care to become your or anyone else's slave. People dont realize thats what this "credit system" was implemented for. THE BORROWER IS SLAVE TO THE LENDER It's only a matter of time before they put you in a camp or jail for failure to pay. The same people who make it near impossible to get by on a days wages are also the ones offering these loans. If you go high enough you'll see. Blackrock, ********************** own 90% of everything (And I mean EVERYTHING) worldwide. If you cant afford it, dont buy it. Do the best you can without enslaving yourself. And stop calling me Leap!I dont need you trying to make life harder than it already is. Lose my number!!Review from Erin W

I took out a loan and got behind however I settled and paid the amount in full on July 6, 2023. I repeatedly asked for a statement showing I was paid in full and never got a response. Now, it is November 21, 2023 and I find out they are trying to *** me?!?! My online account is showing $0 amount due so Im not sure how they are suing me! Their customer is lacking and I am certain I will need to get an attorney to settle this as they are suing me for something I dont owe. Stay away from this company at all costs!Review from Tana D

I was called by a collections agency stating I had taken a loan with this company. I have never heard of them and the information the agency provided me was outdated address and incorrect email information. So far the company has yet to respond to my emails request for help or even answer their phones. I call and sit on hold for 30 minutes a time to no answer. I am completely disgusted and will most likely have to lawyer up to fight this and obviously file a police reportReview from Jose P

I have had my phone number for over a year now. Untill this they, i am constantly getting calls/texts. I have made many attempts to get them to remove my number from their systems but seems like it's impossible.. Nor sure if "****, an accountant manager" or "*****" are real people but I need to stop receiving messages from these people immediately.Review from Troy B

We evidently had a **** loan that I thought was settled in June of 2020. Tonight (3-12-22) I get a text that we owe about **** on it after NO communication about the loan since June 2020. This is so unethical I wonder if it is criminal.Leap Credit, LLC Response

Hello ****,We apologize for any confusion surrounding your loan life cycle. We received a letter from Fair Credit **** ***** stating that they are representing you as their client and cease all communication directly to you. We complied with this request and began negotiation for settlement. During negotiation, a drop notification was sent in June of last year stating they are longer representing you as a client. We attempted to contact you to make you aware of this notification and provide you with the next steps but were unsuccessful. According to our records, a settlement has been reached along with a payment plan with the last correspondence being 03/12/22. Please give us a call at ************** or email us at *********************************** and we can discuss this in further detail with you.Review from Melody D

2000 emergency loan I tried to call and cancel when I saw that I have to pay 799 every 2 weeks for 12 months, I have already paid them $5000, they wouldn't respond to emails or text and say my pay off amount is $6000 even after paying $5000. They are horrible. It should be illegal to take advantage of people like this especially during the pandemic. - single mom of three kids 2 with disabilities trying not to have eviction on my record.Leap Credit, LLC Response

There should be an option for 0 stars or negative stars. Please see complaint dated 6/4/21. This is exactly what happened to us. Received a bill for a loan we never asked for from a company we had never heard of. On top of that, loan was sent to a bank we had never heard of. I will add that in our case that there was NO ACCOUNT NUMBER OF ANY KIND on the bill. The first time we called up the woman requested a number. We didn't have any. So then she requested the last 4 digits of my husband's social security number. She continued to badger my husband for social security number. I (the wife) was listening to conversation n]and told I'm not to give the information out, but he did. After all the trouble we've been having, I wonder if this is not evidence of personal identity theft from this company itself. This is particularly so since a brief visit of mine to their site seems only to require THIS LAST 4 DIGITS OF SOCIAL SECURITY to identify person. Leap credit response to not only the 6/4/21 complaint but to others that is similar is to give them a list of things to do to straighten this out and then give them the information. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. THEY ARE VICTIMIZING INNOCENT PEOPLE AND CAUSING THEM TIME AND TROUBLE. THEY SHOULD BEAR THE BRUNT OF THEIR OWN SHABBY BUSINESS PRACTICES.Leap Credit, LLC Response

Leap Credit has taken appropriate verification and security enhancements since the opening of the account in question. These and other measures put in place, have and will continue to minimize the risk of perpetrators of ID theft using our products to secure suspected fraudulent loans in the future.Customer Response

Leap credit as NOT taken appropriate verification and security precautions to minimize ID theft. If they had, they would not have issued the FRAUDULENT LOAN TO A PERSON THAT HAD NEVER HEARD OF THE COMPANY, CONTACTED THE COMPANY, MUCH LESS TAKEN OUT A LOAN. In our case we had been trying to get the company to respond since the end of October 2020. No progress was made. Also in our case a remarkable amount of INCOMPETENCY was evident. Starting from no account number on bill and no account number ever passed onto us, the repeated contacts we made were received by people who could not settle the issue and did not pass the issue up to people who could. Still--even after this complaint was filed all they can say is the unsubstantiated sentences above. In case you are looking for hard data, please peruse the complaints and reviews listed in this BBB website.
I will just repeat: THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. THEY ARE VICTIMIZING INNOCENT PEOPLE AND CAUSING THEM TIME AND TROUBLE. THEY SHOULD BEAR THE BRUNT OF THEIR OWN SHABBY BUSINESS PRACTICES.
Give our experience with this company, I have no expectations of having them do the right thing and erasing this loan. The only reason I am taking time out to leave this complaint is to give a heads-up to prospective victims and stand with the previous victims of this company.Review from Benjamin S

Disappointed. Worst experience ever with a loan company. They use the word "fast" but it's been almost 2 weeks and I haven't received the funds I was approved for. I've had 3 people contact me, Kate, John, and Donna. Seemed promising but no positive results yet. Definitely would not recommend.Leap Credit, LLC Response

Hello, I have already mentioned to you that I would prefer to do business with you via email because I would like our dealings to be documented. Too many times I have received different answers from different people and I have no documentation of them. I have given you permission on multiple occasions to discuss any and all business matters via email. I need documentation of real conversations between me and whoever it is I talk to on a weekly basis. Usually I only receive the standard business emails that don't really have any valid information at all. One week I'm in the underwriting process and it should be 1-2 business days, then next I'm referred to ipper management and the issue will be resolved soon. This week I send an email and they say I'm in the underwriting process again then shortly after that I receive another email that the issue hasn't been resolved yet. Just send an email with the exact issue and I will send you documentation to resolve the issue. Please and thank you.Review from Kimberly W

I took out a loan. Paid it off. Then all of a sudden $422 got taken out of my account. They kept saying they would escalate it to the next level but heard nothing. Now they say I owed it to them when I have all the documents saying I don't. So now I am out $422. Never ever use this fraudulent company!Leap Credit, LLC Response

I recently requested a loan online. I received a confirmation email saying it was funded and to expect the funds to be deposited into my account within 1 to 2 days. That time has come and gone with no deposit. I have tried calling their number and get the recording saying to press "4" to talk to an agent. After pressing "4" it disconnected me. I've tried calling over 100 times and only got thru 3 times. They say they will return calls and don't, they don't respond to emails or texts.
