1 starStarting June 11th I had severe *********** & a swollen uvula. I have had several urgent care, primary *************** visits. It took them a week to decide to send me to ENT. After several urgent care visits & even being monitored for tachycardia, which I still have. The worst part was being left outside in a wheelchair by a pharmacist. The day after I saw the first dr *** said well its not strep but here's some sudafed go on home. I did a virtual to get numbing stuff for my throat. About 3 minutes from the pharmacy I started feeling lightheaded. Walking in I felt like I was going to pass out. I check in & immediately lay down, take off my jacket & lay there until im called. I leave my ************** where I was & as im paying im crouched down basically on my knees with my head on my arm. No one's concerned, no one asks are you good? I ask the pharmacist if someone can wheel me to my car. He wheels me outside the facility & says ma'am your water is spilling, which it did all of it all on my lady bits. He asked if I was good to walk I said no & he said he had to get back to the pharmacy. Thanks sir. **** about 2 minutes later security comes out I cant even lift my head I feel clammy & like im going to pass out & puke at the same time. He asks if im okay & I said no I need a dr. ** he wheeled me down to urgent care where I waited to be assessed for about 45 minutes. Again clammy, cant hold my head up, super dizzy. They take me back & check my blood pressure. Next thing I know there's 5 people, the nurse asks if there's a bed available. I hear "I've taken her ** 4 times". **** a *** said "okay ma'am your ** is very low we're going to call 911". My ** was 60/40. If I would have waited for them maybe 5-10 minutes longer I probably would have coded. I rode to the hospital where they found a blood infection. HE LEFT ME OUTSIDE & WALKED AWAY. Kaiser couldn't find said infection in my blood. Its been 2 weeks. Im in unbearable pain and they refuse to help me with my pain.Review fromPeter V

1 starWorst insurance I have ever dealt with. They won’t pay and contradict the doctor treating the patient. Stay away. These people are as close to ********* as it comes. Would give 0 starsReview fromJulia E

1 starI dont know why Kaiser is not BB Accredited, but they dont have good doctors. They are lazy and they only care about aesthetics. The most they can do for you is give you physical therapy and prescribe you pain medication. when I need to get something done, I usually have to go to the city And visit a doctor that is not from this region. I know the city is hectic and I sometimes do not prefer to go to the city, but I go anyway because that is where i go to get the proper help. They are more inclined to listen and help patients. I only go through Kaiser because I need allergy shots and it is already covered through my husbands insurance. I dont really get the same experience through ******** all that much. I would say ******** slightly better but ******** does not know how to prescribe the right medication. I have to use a universal healthcare that allows me to go to any doctor. I have breathing issues and I have severe allergies. I also have fibromyalgia and constant migraines so Im going to have to keep up with my medical things.Kaiser Permanente

1 starRecently I called and made an appointment for an injection. ****** refused to honor the appointment. The person who made the appointment failed to make the actually appointment . I request this appointment on the 8th because there were no availability on my off days. I waited in pain from the 8 to the 13 with no complaints. So today on the 13 I was told there was no appointment made. Although they have recorded and recording of the call.I requested multiple time for them to review the call and honor the appointment but they did nothing. They told i could drive over an hour away to an urgent care , or wait another week. Im very disappointed and i would advise other to not make the mistake I made by choosing this insurance twice. I really blame myself for choosing them because I should have let the past incident be a predictor of their current actions.Kaiser Permanente

5 starsI read the below reviews and my experiences were totally opposite. My doctor, Dr **** is awesome.I'm aways notified of check *** that I should be scheduling. Very quick and available appointments dates. I love that ALL my ** notes and test results are in one place for me and other doctors to review. I can get lab work done at ANY Kaiser facility 7 days of the week. **************** is available 24/7 and not a answering service. *************** is available anytime. Kaiser provides me with all my "wishlist" items for my medical care!Kaiser Permanente

1 starKaiser Permanente is not permitting its insured to be vaccinated outside of its facilities. In turn, Kaiser P. does not give this vaccine on Saturdays when its convenient for many families. What are we to do, KP? What?? I guess many won't be vaccinated this cycle...Kaiser Permanente

1 starWebsites constantly down. Been waiting a week for test results, still don't know what I have. First they prescribed me nothing, then they give me steroids that make me feel better for a day and now I'm back to feeling worse than before. They need to be shut down entirely. Each person working there is the definition of "I'm only here for my paycheck." This is my first and last year using kaiser, and I will make it my mission to spread awareness about their horrible company and services until I'm either long gone or they have been shut down permanently. I see I'm not the only one with complaints either, which doesn't surprise me. How have these people been able to stay in business this long??Kaiser Permanente

1 starIf it were possible to leave a zero star rating, I would. Most disgusting, unprofessional, and unethical practice of medical attention. In three months, I was lied to, spoken to by a Dr in a manor no one should experience. I had to tell the doctors what and when tests and medications should have been ordered as I was scheduled for surgery. Five different times scheduled with the wrong Drs. Not one Dr who works with all the other Drs agree on anything. When I filed formal complaints (with major reasonings) Im asked if I want mental health help to get me through the trauma their Drs and techs caused! I took my children off KP and will spend my day searching for a new insurance company. I know ** thinks ** just going to go away, but you are wrong! No one should feel like they are on an episode of punked when seeking medical attention.Kaiser Permanente

1 starDO NOT GET KAISER PERMANENTE INSURANCE EVER. Absolute worst patient service. Must go through main call center for everything. Some representatives nice & helpful; many others rude & condescending. 3 days ago had bad accident. Immediately went to 3 hospital ERs. 1st the one nearest home 45-minutes away, 2nd Kaiser ************* 90- minutes from my home, not a full-fledged ER, a glorified ************ 3rd a well-respected hospital, affiliated with Kaiser. I was examined & told I require surgery within 5 days. All together, took 14 hours & 300 miles driving. Luckily, wife was home when accident occurred. Scheduled appointment for today with Kaiser Ortho PA-C, which was cancelled this morning, as she called out sick. Must only have one at this location. Next closest Kaiser location to me is 3 hours away, 6-hour round trip. Next available appointment March 26, 20 days after accident. Cant call any doctor or department directly, must leave messages thru call center reps, who say call will be returned within 72 hours. Injury occurred 3 days ago, 72 hours = 3 more days, 1 day after required surgery date & thats to speak with someone, not to have an appointment or schedule surgery. Found an out-of-Kaiser specialist at top hospital, where Kaiser surgeons operate, who can see me Monday, 3 more days but cant without Kaiser referral. Called Kaiser again, 5th time today, over total of 7 hours. Requested a referral. Was told theyd send the message but it takes 7 to 10 days for a Board Review. A person could have permanent damage or die before being seen & taken care of by Kaiser. Why pay astronomical prices for coverage to get none. Id be better off having no insurance. I dont know what to do. Im scared, angry & worried that I am going to be forever damaged, unable to use my dominant right hand, ************ Please dont get Kaiser. If you have Kaiser, cancel & purchase insurance that will actually cover you, especially in emergency situations.
