      Received a gift card as a birthday present and tried to use it online. After multiple sites rejected the card I came to find out someone had stolen the card's details and already drained it. I thought no problem contact the company and alert them to the theft. The representative told me they would investigate and send me a replacement card as soon as possible but they could take a few days.They then proceeded to wait the maximum 90 days (I checked in on 83 days on progress, but no we need to waste the full 90 days) to respond in the vaguest way possible saying they had investigated and that there had been an "interruption in the processing of the transaction". I certainly didn't transact anything to interrupt. I know I tried...multiple times and didn't succeed once! But this "investigation" seems to have been enough to deny the claim conveniently.Also I say it "seems" as the email is very badly worded and there is no clear indication of what any of the above means or what they are doing to fix it. Just send me a replacement card for the original voucher so I can finally use my birthday present (its been 7 months) and let me be done with this. I am not asking for anything more than what is mine and honestly would strongly recommend people avoid this company and any products they support going forward.

      Vanilla Gift Cards are the Worst!! I wasted so many minutes of my life trying to get the balance of my gift card via the phone, and online. Both systems were useless, and crashed. After 20 minutes or more, I still have no idea what my balance is and was told to try again later. Terrible!!

      I bought a gift card for myself 500.00&I went to use it& it was locked. I got a hold of gift *************** them my ************ it's been over 30 days I am a vet.living on a fixed income I got the card to pay bills I now have late charges on everything I want my money back.

      I would not even give them 1 star. This has to be the worst gift card ever. My son received for a gift for his birthday. He has tried to buy some things online twice. It has had those pending charges for 2 weeks each time and then the fund are returned to the card when they don't go through. They are impossible to get a hold of. there is not a number that connects you to a person. I finally found a link that took me to someone who does not hardly speak english. Then they said in order to make an online purchase I must first go to an brick and ****** store and buy a small item then I could use online. I have not tried this yet since I am still waiting for the 2 week period to get the funds back. But they said it SHOULD work after that. My son just wants to buy a game online. It is the biggest scam. I think they are just hoping that I will give up and forget about it.

      I got 2, $100 gift cards as a gift both with only 12 of 16 number with cvv scratched off. I have called them over 30 times. They apparently sent a replacement card. No replacement card was sent. Every time I call, they say to call back I'm 2 days.

      I do not trust them. never purchase their product! I would not even give them 1 star.I have been waiting for 3 months to have my lost card replaced. the customer ********************** lie to me and put you on hold for hours. I call again and I hear a different response and different excuses Despite that the lost card was deactivated and the balance was confirmed. every time I call, they provide me with a different email to submit my document.I have provided everything they requested and and the problem never solved.Never ever purchase any products from them.

      What a bummer that people pay hard earned dollars to trust theyre getting the same back on a gift card! My case has been. Going on for over 3 months I got an email today that they need another 90 days???! To do what? Just send me another card or refund my $150!!Totally dishonest and Ill never buy a gift card again from vanilla!! Total joke. You shouldnt even get 1 star!

      Absolute disaster! Drained twice on the same card. Three-hundred dollars. No more pre-paid. I thought, "Hey, a **** Card. What could go wrong?" Bought at Wal you-know. These cards and any others handled by either company must be made known nationally and removed. Less than one star.
