    I hired Smooth Moves to complete a move for me. First starting out they were late. Things were going okay until they crack the step of the house I was moving from. Which I know it wasnt intentional. However his movers tried to hide it by using gorilla glue because they said they didnt want to tell ****. When I texted **** the photos he said to me that the wood must be bad. I hadnt too long gotten my steps done and had and inspection before I sold the home . He wanted to see paperwork. I told him Im moving and I couldnt put my hands on anything and that I had to turn the house over to the new homeowners the next day. He kept blaming the wood and everything else. He said his guys didnt lie and we so upstanding. By not telling him at first is a lie isnt it. They were so upstanding the one came with his pants down to his waist showing his underwear. They didnt put some of the furniture together, and didnt hook up my dryer. After all of this happen, *********** was suppose to meet my husband at the old house to see the damage. He kept calling my husband saying he was on his way and my husband told him to just come on. He called several times to say he was on his way.. While I was at the new house, which my husband was there unpacking our trailer because they didnt come prepared, this man walks up to our house. My husband ask what he needed, he said he was the owner of Smooth Moves., which was ****. He ask my husband did he need help and my husband said no. He then said he had to use the restroom all the while he was trying to get into my home. He said he was hot and thirsty my husband finally said h*** meet him at the other house. **** has a problem, hes lying to my husband saying h*** meet him at the old house to see the damage, while tryin to sneak up,] on me at the new house. What he didnt know was my husband had left and told the cleaning lady that **** was coming by. He kept checking in on my husband letting him know he was on his way to the old house because he thought he was going to catch me by myself. **** was not invite to my home, why would someone show up at a persons house after theyve had words, lying to that persons husband saying he was on the way to the house he thought my husband was at, unless they were trying to do harm to that person. Thats very scary. Hes a very weird person. Please beware when your dealing with him.

    The owner's name is ********************* and he is a undeniably unprofessional. Upon booking his company for my move, he asked for explicit detail of what was moving, which was provided for a 5BBR/5BA home with over 4000SF. He initially sent over a 26FT **Haul van and quickly realized that the move didnt involve large furniture so much that it involved lots of boxes and small items. This was overwhelming for him, but his crew did the work. After he realized his error in judgment, he called to say he needed to get another truck for which I wasn't charged. The funny thing is, the day before he was advised to bring n 18-******* moving truck and not a **Haul and he responded that the **Haul would be sufficient, mistake #1. After unpacking, my wife realized her LV bag was missing from an area only the movers were in for an unspecified and unmonitored time, sad to say upon making **** aware of the missing item, he insisted his guys didn't do it, although he has had a track record of having this occurrence before, but that person had no longer been working there. So, for my wife and I, his past judgment and issue had nothing to do with what could/did happen now. What a joke. He told me his guys didn't do it and that I was looking to get free stuff, he then hung up on me.

    My name is *********************. I would like to preface this response by saying this is extremely disheartening for a person who puts integrity and professionalism in the forefront of everything they do. I would ask anyone reading this to please visit our website where ALL of our reviews are. You will find that this is not just the only complaint, but the only bad review in 6 years. 

    **** was very difficult to work for. I understand when hiring a moving company the goal is to remove the headache of doing it yourself, but unfortunately there is still some effort required. We have a process and each step is vital to our overall success and performance. I did ask **** for explicit details of what we were expected to move. 8 different times through email and text. My continued inquires only seemed to frustrate him. I finally received 4 pictures the day before the move, which is about 1 tenth of what he had to move. I had a very difficult time communicating with him for lack of response. Because of this,I did only send one truck. I'm not sure how I came across as overwhelmed, because not only did we acquire a 2nd truck, we did on our lunch break which eliminated lost time, and I also didn't charge him for it. The crew was on time, efficient, and obviously this massive move that he speaks of was ultimately done flawlessly. Our company does not have a track record of theft. I did however have one incident 2 years ago with a pair of sneakers. The employee was fired. The 400 dollars was refunded, and I have since integrated a step where the customers look inside the cab and back of the truck to insure they are empty and nothing was overlooked. They then sign off which he did, and if I could upload that and all of our texts and emails I would. He talked down to the crew the entire time they were working. He talked down to me and quickly ended a conversation and hung up on me several times. He seems to have some issues with anger, but all we did was attempt to provide the stellar performance that is the norm. Please allow logic and instinct to guide you if are considering using our company. Thanks and have a wonderful day
