    According to information in BBB files, PupSocks has a pattern of complaint alleging Delivery Issues and Refund Issues.

    Consumers allege PupSocks advertises on social media platforms and on its website (GoPupSocks.com) enticing consumers to place orders for socks with custom prints.

    Consumers are instructed to snap a photo or find a picture on social media that they'd like printed on their custom socks and upload the photo to the PupSocks website.

    Consumers indicate once the order is placed, there is an expected 10 to 14 day turnaround time to receive the product; however, many consumers indicate several weeks, and sometimes months, pass without delivery of the socks.

    Others allege delivery never occurred, some indicate products received were not as ordered, and many indicate PupSocks failed to issue refunds. 

     

    On December 17, 2021, BBB contacted Pupsocks to seek their voluntary cooperation in eliminating the pattern of complaint; however, PupSocks failed to respond to BBB's request. This aspect of the Business Profile will be updated once additional information becomes available.

      I ordered socks and a blanket from Pup Socks as Christmas presents. Since December, unbeknownst to me (until we investigated a recurring charge on our credit card), Pup Socks has been charging us monthly for a subscription to Digital Apps Content. I did not authorize this and was not made aware at the time of purchase. I have no idea what Digital Apps Content is and am receiving nothing of value from it. In fact, after Googling it, I believe it is bogus. $348.93 has been charged since Dec. ($38.77 each month since Dec and it is now Aug).

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The response states that the company will:

      1)  Reach out to Digital Content Apps.

      There is no Digital Content Apps.  The BBB website states that there have been ****************************************** the last 3 years.  These complaints were given the identical response that I just received (via this BBB thread).   So I do not accept their form letter response that yields no results.  I want $348.93 refunded to my credit card ending in 8536 that was charged by PupSocks (through Digital Content Apps).

      2)  Support me once they receive more information from me.

      I have no information regarding a subscription to Digital Content Apps, as I never signed up.  If they need more information from me for a resolution, they need to state the specific information they require (which they did not).

      I wish I would have looked up PupSocks on the BBB website before I ordered from them, as they have an "F" rating due to their 315 complaints in three-years.  There is an entire ******** page **** Sock or Pup Scam) with 760 previously scammed members with experiences similar to mine.  There is also a ******* video explaining how PupSocks deceives purchasers and signs them up for Digital Content Apps without their knowledge or consent (if not for this video, I still wouldn't even know where the charges originated).

      My next step will be to file a complaint with ***********************, my State Attorney, if this issue is not resolved through the BBB (which it can easily be if PupSocks simply refunds the months of subscription that they charged).

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I requested a $348.93 refund (9 months of a $38.77/month subscription that PupSocks enrolled me in without my consent or knowledge).  This latest response from PupSocks states that they successfully refunded all charges.  As of today, 9/11/24, $348.93 has NOT been refunded to my credit card ending in 8536.  I will await the next response via the BBB, but if PupSocks does not refund ALL charges, I am fully prepared to file a complaint with ***********************, my State Attorney.

      P.S.  I have 4 emails from *********************.  The first email states that my YOGA APP has been cancelled (??what??).  The next 3 emails each state that $19.36 has been refunded to my credit card.  If this is *******'s subscription management company, then they need a new accountant.  If this refund is indeed from PupSock's, they are about $290.85 short.

      I noticed an unauthorized recurring charge on my debit card on 8/11/24, which I have determined stems from a purchase made through the company Pupsocks on 11/19/2023, order# PS5019304. As a result of this purchase, I was unknowingly signed up for some type of subscription without my authorization for $38.77 per month that is showing up on my bank statement as DIGITALCONTENTAPPS *********** WY 03/10 (*******) Card -$38.77. I was charged $38.77 per month from 12/10/23-8/10/24, when I finally noticed/realized and began to research what it was. A simple ****** search revealed literally dozens of other Pupsocks customers with the exact same charge and issue. There is even ******* video about it. I sent an email to Pupsocks at ******************************** demanding a refund these charges totaling $348.93. This is the only contact info on their website. The email was returned undeliverable. There is also a phone number listed on my bank statement from the recurring charge *************), and it just goes straight to a generic voicemail.       I ordered from Pup Socks on 12/18 for Holiday Present. The delivery was late / never arrived. Finally got the delivery 1 month after the holiday. I paid for quick delivery. Starting in Jan 2024 I received a billing of ***** for 5 months from appcontetdigital. This is a fraudulent charge and is unauthorized. I would like to be refunded the ***** x 5 months for a total of ******. Cancel my subscription to this scam immediately.

      I went to a website called popsocks.com upon going to the website I purchased items for my niece and nephews for Christmas and December 2023. I received the product without any issue. In the subsequent months I have been charged $38.77 For a grand total of $193.55. I have tried emailing the company as they do not have a telephone number and have not received any response from this business. I paid in full upon purchasing these items back in December so Im not sure why I am still being charged $38.77 a month for five months after I already purchased the product .

      I purchased some socks from PupSocks in late Dec 2023 for my husband. Since then I have unknowingly been charged $38.77 monthly (until May when it was flagged as fraud by my creidt card company) by it's actual name: DIGITALCONTENTAPPS. This is a scam, which has been widely reported. My bank is currently reversing all charges. This company should be shut down immediately.

      While I was on vacation, my bank texted a fraud alert about a charge of $38.77. We stopped that charge but found that they had already charged me three other times. Digitalcontentapps then rammed through a new charge of $33.81. My bank couldn't stop that one and it isn't settled whether they are refunding the bogus charges. This all started because my wife got a Christmas present from Pup Socks. Both of these places are scams and need to be shut down.

      I am rejecting this response because I have still not received reimbursement for December's charge of $38.77.  I did receive a credit of $33.81 today from where DigitalContent changed their amount to circumvent my bank's fraud department.  My bank charged back 2 charges of $38.77 for ******* and February but they have not returned the December charge.

One major and one minor.Major issue: I just received a credit card fraud alert statement for "DIGITALCONTENTAPP" charging me $38.77 / month. I looked in my history and this is the third month in a row! Looking online this is linked to my previous purchase with pupsocks. I saw no sign in the checkout process that I was signing up for a recurring fee or any kind of membership!
