On Friday, December 9, 2022 I applied for a unit at Marietta Crossing. I then called on the following Saturday to get an update on the application because I received an email about my background screening which initially I thought was odd because I dont have anything on my background. The agent who answered the phone advised me they didnt send the email to me and my application is still being processed. Strike one so who sent the email from your companies email address. The following evening , I received a call asking me to confirm my year to date from my submitted pay stubs. I advised her of a promotion and the start date for the stubs provided. I then get another call on Tuesday at 11:08 , the day before Im supposed to move in and ****** stated that I needed to send in additional income because I was a few hundred short to cover the rent. I did exactly that and sent my earnings from a shopper contract that I have. She said she would review this and update me. She called again that evening to let me know, Id hear back by 11am because I know tomorrows move in day. Following our conversation, I received several emails about valet trash, a water shut off any other resident emails. On Wednesday , December 14,2022 ****** called again to tell me that my income was still a couple hundred off. The applications fees are not refundable. So here I am on move in daywith no where to go, $350 out of my pocket, stressed and upset about my next steps because someone cant calculate 3x the rent. I only applied because of the good reviews I saw, I figured a property like this would value a good renter! I was wrong. This appears to be a scam.Business response

I renewed my apartment room's contract last July as new base rent will be $880.00 with 10 years contract nevertheless I was charged November's base rent as $1313.00. This is not what I signed for. Also, simply I can't pay. Why I contacted BBB is when I complained about Sewer fee over $40 and Trash fee became triple, they just told me they calculated it right. Even when my husband and I moved in here only they said water fee, nothing about Sewer fee. I live here with my retired husband , no children. Nobody visit us, so no way Sewer fee is over $40 and $20 Trash fee every month. So, as my past experience, I thought we need the professional to help us. Please help us.Business response

Please see attached document that lists out the very intricate detail about the unprofessionalism I am continuing to receive, from my rental property. Dayrise LLC located in Houston TX, is the management company for ******* at Winters Chapel.
