      I waited for the Inspector for 2 1/2 hours past the appointment time. She literally ran through the process and did not inspect at all, no attention to detail, just tried to hurry up and get out of here . The company needs to train their employees, its as if they are not trained at all! I will be calling the board of insurance on Allstate and Hancock claims !!

      Absolutely the most unethical company ever. They grossly overcharged for a simple ladder assist and won't admit to their mistake. They charged me 10 times what I should have been charged. Stay away from these thieving crooks! I will NEVER do business with them again and will tirelessly spread the word about their despicable behavior at every claims association meeting that I go to, and there are many.

      ************** Third party Ladder assist that thinks they are insurance adjusters. Definitely not looking out for the homeowner.

      ***** ********* companies send them out and they're very unprofessional, have no idea what they're doing, and disrespectful. And it's just a way for insurance companies to deny claims. Don't let them on your roof!

      Hancock was hired by Nationwide to inspect my roof. I had been on my roof and my roofer had as well. Hancock found no damage to the roof but somehow did find damage to the siding. I raised h*** I made Nationwide use another company and they chose ********. I made my agent show up for the inspection as well. Amazingly the adjuster for ******** found damage on all four faces of my roof. I blame Hancock for being criminally bad at their job or just outright fraud and I blame nationwide for hiring such a terrible company.

      It appears Hancock is just an insurance company scam. They claim to be independent and they are sent to investigate roof damage claims. There is no inspection done, no expertise about a roof, they are simply sent to deny the claim. They say they are just sent to take pictures, but don't believe it. All they do is setback your claim months. In our case, State Farm uses the so-called Hancock review to deny the claim, though no inspection was really done and Hancock knows nothing about roofs.

      This company is used to dispute insurance claims for Allstate. I had ******* inspected twice by this company and both times Allstate is attempting to deny my claim and limit the damage to an amount less than my deductible. I have hundreds of pictures and a very detailed report provided by a licensed roofing contractor. ****************** sent out his roofer for a neutral unbiased opinion as a favor and even they agreed that I am being wrongfully denied and sided with the other contractor in their findings. I guess this is very common with Allstate and Hancock. They are hoping I go away and give up but that won't happen.Be warned...do your research regarding Allstate and Hancock.

      Hancock Claims Consultants were contracted by insurance company to investigate hail damage to our roof. When they set the appointment up, it was set up for the Labor Day holiday between 3 and 5, the inspector called the night before and said he would be here between 130 and 2pm. He showed up without notice at ****, never introduced himself, the only way I knew who it was, was because our contractor told us. You could tell the inspector was pissy because it was holiday and it was hot, but as explained to him, I didnt set the appointment up. He walked around our house took pictures, then went on the roof, he was on the roof a total of less than 14 minutes (had security cam footage to prove), our garage while attached the roof is a lower level than the house and *********** was an addition and had different level of roof as well. the inspector never stepped foot on either the garage roof or the sunroom roof. After his 14 minutes on the roof, he packed up his ladder and left. 4 days later I get a call from the insurance company that he noted no damage, I asked them what he said about our garage and shed roof, then I explained he never stepped foot on either, and went through the scenario. Nationwide rep then said he would note the chart, but my claim was denied. I could have the contractor submit more info to be reviewed, but again this fell on me to deal with. I would steer clear from this company and if your insurance company pushes for them, refuse. Unprofessional and inadequate inspections that the insurance will use to deny your claim.

      I HAD TO GIVE A ONE STAR. BUT SHOULD BE NEGATIVE ONE. Long story short. They were to inspect my roof and when i checked my claim online with "the good hands" company, I found out they took pictures of my windows and other pics of the enire property too totalling 74 pics. Im not a lawyer but isn't that an invasion of privacy? I didn't know they had taken those pictures. A couple of pics you can see the inside of my house. This is unprofessional to say the least. Then the adjuster came back and said that we only had 5 shingles to be replaced on a roof that already had 2 layers of shingles. But then when downloading my claim i say 43 pictures of my roof showing damage. Never use this company. They must have been embarrassed by who they hired because on the pictures their name is left off. I stumbled upon it digging thru my claim.

      I scheduled and appt with Hancock and the soonest availability was 3 weeks out. Day of the appt the rep for Hancock called 15mins before the appt time cancelling. Which then I had to cancel with my contractor that was 10mins from my house. Hes about an hour away. So it was very inconvenient. I then had to reschedule a week out and the same rep made it seem like it was such an inconvenience to fit me in. He showed up 15mins late, said hello, did his inspection, and left. To no surprise I did not get insurance coverage on my roof that had well enough proof of storm damage. Which of course meant going back and forth with my insurance and contractor to get things covered. Overall horrible customer service, lack of communication, and very unprofessional. Would not recommend.
