Unfortunately for me, my minor back problems got worse from sitting in the airplane for a long period of time without moving. But I wasn't going to let it ruin my trip to Disney World.
I decided to treat it right away when I landed.
Acupuncture always worked on my ankle when I would sprain it countless times playing basketball. It would help the swelling go down and decrease my downtown by helping me get back to playing basketball on the hardwood at a quicker rate.
As soon as I got in the small yet cozy and clean office (located about 30 minutes away from Disney World), I was welcomed by Dr. ***.
He came into the room where I was sitting and I carefully told him my situation. I explained that I have lower back pain if I sit for long periods of time and showed him where the pain was. He put the needle on my lower back and after about thirty seconds, he took it out.
This was a bit strange because it ended abruptly.
I asked him why he took it out so quickly because acupuncture needles that were put in my ankle stayed in my ankle for a minimum of 30 minutes. This was what I was used to with my past acupuncture experiences.
Dr. *** explained that there were two methods of acupuncture and that the quick way was as effective as the traditional way (the needles staying for 30 minutes). I was a bit surprised, but through his explanations and expertise I was convinced.
Dr. *** is passionate about his work and craft. He was empathetic to understood my pain and thoroughly explained my questions. He provided complimentary back relief patches as a courtesy. My back feels stiil good untill now. Suprising!!!
