Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Representative was argumentative and condescending. The language for an expedited test is misleading given that the company provides a shipping label that is not in fact expedited. Honestly, this whole experience has felt like a scheme and I no longer trust my test results as a result of these interactions. Would never use this service again.

Since expedited results are only optional, we provide detailed instructions on shipping using a method that is most convenient to you and gets your sample back to us quicker. These options include but are not limited to FedEx and UPS services. Just like expedited results, this too is optional.

On August 20, 2021 a ceiling in one of my rooms of my home was infested with black mold after it collapsed. A company named Restoration 1 came in without wearing any kind of protective gear either on their bodies or on their feet like they advertise on their website. Black mold was hanging and falling from my ceiling all over the room and they did absolutely nothing to protect my family. Lab Pro was sent the samples of the mold but the test came back that it was everyday household mold which is a complete lie. The entire ceiling came down where black mold was all over the room and they tracked it all over my house walking back and forth, coming in and out; I went to the doctor for shortness of breath on September 18, 2021 and now have developed allergies and specifically Rhinitis. Lab Pro refused to answer any of my emails or any of my phone calls. I specifically emailed ***** ***** - VP of Laboratory Services/ Lab Director and sent 2 emails to her. To this day she has not responded. Lab Pro should not be trusted. I have read all of the complaints lodged against them to find shoddy testing and testing that is in no way truthful. Many people have exposed this company and there are several other websites on Google specifically exposing Lab Pro in Florida which brings me to this thought; why would any reputable company use such a lousy service? Is there some kind of a deal being made for using the mold testing products? Maybe an "if you scratch our back, we'll scratch yours" deal? Because obviously the test results are not true. I have no doubt that some of these good reviews are bought and paid for by Lab Pro themselves because in my opinion, there are way too many people leaving bad reviews. Search Google and find out more. This company is not right.

PRO-LAB is only able to analyze the samples provided by the company. PRO-LAB does not actively go out on location to draw samples. We are only a lab that provides results for samples submitted. We also do not provide recommendations or medical advice. This should be done by the company hired to do the remediation and a physician.

So, you're admitting that you are in partnership with at least one company (Restoration 1) who gathers samples and who are acting agents of the homeowners who rent out properties that are obviously not up to par as far as inspections for black mold go. Your "lab" is relyng of inexperienced individuals to collect samples of black mold to be delivered or sent via mail service to your "lab" and is a middleman who protects the homeowner instead of the tenant. Your "lab" has several complaints lodged against your company, and some are detailingshoddy work and false results by your company. I assume your company is making a killing off of these faulty tests.

We also do tests for consumers that are available online and at many retail locations. There is no need to be a homeowner to purchase, use and receive results from these tests

That response is obvious; However you are attempting to sway public opinion when in fact your company "Lab Pro" has many compaints of false readings. People have had to hire other companies, or use different types of testing because of it. And the fact is Lab Pro refused to answer any of my emails or any of my phone calls. I specifically emailed ***** ***** - VP of Laboratory Services/ Lab Director and sent 2 emails to her as well as to **** **** who never answered any of my questions nor did either of them even respind in any manner which is why I contacted the BBB. I tried several times to phone your company and while calls were answered, the representatives hung up after recieving calls.
