I purchased a 2016 ******************* for about $16,000 with Palm Beach Auto on October 2022. In December 2022, the car overheated and left me stranded on I-95. When I had the car towed to Griffit Auto on *******, I was told that it needed a new engine. When I called them, *** offered to fix it, but it would cost me first, $1,850. Supposedly he fixed it, but I drove it home only to overheat and stall right down the block from my home. I called again, they had it towed back to them and they have supposedly found the problem, this time for an additional $600. I paid it because I needed my car. Well, after getting it back from him the second time, it not only overheated, but the check engine light came on. I turned it over to the ***** dealer who said that there were coolant and oil leaks. Also the thermostat that was supposed to have been replaced was not a new thermostat. When ***** did a car fax report (which **** or *** did not supply when I have asked them, apparently it has been in a severe car accident and sold it to me nearly double the value of the car. I tried reaching them and they have not responded back. I will need to file a lawsuit.
