    Terrible company. They ask for additional information on your claims and say they will get back to you but never do. Spent several phone calls trying to get this canceled and was strung along then only received a $3 refund. Such a scam.

    This business is a scam and they everything to avoid a payout for a claim. This includes having to resend and/or upload the same information requested more than once. It includes call center employees telling me inaccurate information. It includes requesting every single document I've ever had for my dog, including adoption paperwork, vaccinations, chip cards, and non-relevant veterinary visits. Even after receiving all requested documents in the app & via email, no one responds, or reopens the claim to process. I called for the 7th time regarding the status of the claim, and they said it will take another 5 business days just to reopen it for "evaluation". Then another 5 days for a decision. Then another 10 days for a payout, if there is one. My dog was attacked by another dog, and suffered a ********, as well as an ear infection. All of the requested documents are completely irrelevant to this injury and illness. Case in point they will do everything they can to delay and deny claims. I will discontinue service with this company as soon as this issue is resolved.

    They are a scam!! They have denied every single of my claims saying pre-existing and Ive even had the vet on my side willing to send in notes and they still denied. If you have an older dog DO NOT go with Spot. They will use anything in your pets records to say pre-existing.

    Its not an insurance,but real scam.Theyll Found any reason not to pay,and its always a preexisting condition ,which doesnt exist. Do not recommend.

    They have fought every claim even though I have sent all the information they requested. The latest issue is my dogs have NEVER been sick until now and they are older dogs. They are THIEVES, plain and simple. My dog had an abscesses tooth which required surgery by a specialist. They are claiming it was pre-existing. It was only revealed when I took him to the vet and he required a specialist. Everyone says they are terrible and now I know why. Forbes magazine has no idea how horrible Spot is and should stop including them in the top 10. They are terrible and I am not only stopping coverage but all my friends are too.

    Look at all the reviews before you get spot insurance. I personally do not recommend them. They're a joke I had four claims and they denied me every one of them almost $8,000 worth. Do your research. They said my cat had a polyp which there was no evidence before her surgery. Spot insurance said she had one before her surgery that is a complete lie. I have nothing nice to say about that company.

    I pay around $960 a year for full coverage on my dog and they denied my claim for my dogs yearly vaccinations and such due to it being within the policy renewal. The policy should cover preventative in each calendar year not some weirdo time frame. Canceled that policy fast because they like to steal peoples money. Dont buy insurance from these people

    Absolute worst company ever for pet insurance, this place will do everything it possibly can to make sure they don't reimburse you a dime. I've been with them for almost three years just because my dog is old and the "just in case something really bad happens" thought is always in the back of my mind. They have never given me back a cent for a single bill. Apparently being old is a pre-existing condition. I hope this place goes bankrupt.

    DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS PET INSURANCE. This is the most dishonest pet insurance I have ever had. They cover NOTHING. They find a way to call everything a PRE-EXISTING condition. The last straw was that my dog got an ear infection. She was at the beach and got sand in her ear. They refused to pay this claim as they called it a preexisting condition. She had never had an ear infection before. I have cancelled my policy. Find another company to support your baby. This one will not.
