Autobuy advertises they beat any price & pay the **** Now I know I sold my car to this company under false pretenses. ***** advised me to provide him with an offer from a ***************** will beat the price. When I provided him with the offer from ********. He said he had to speak with his manager to get me $*****. Days later ***** advises he knows the sales manager at Carvana; States they used to work together. ***** also stated he used to own a car lot. He stated he shared his companys (Autobuy) appraisers findings with sales manager at Carvanna. He dishonestly stated ******* said they will pass based off the information he shared with them. ******** offered a little over $1800. Autobuy offered )***** to beat *******, but paid me only $1,000 after their pick up fee claiming that is the most they will pay since Carvana is no longer interested. I sold my car to Autobuy for $1,000 based off ****** dishonesty and shady practice. To date Carvanna is still sending me offers. ******** also states they do not recall any conversation with *****. This is so Unfair. Im 73 years old. I am on a fixed income. I needed the money. I had no reason to feel ***** would dishonestly scam me. This is so unfair. What would make ***** think it is fair game to treat me like this & take advantage of me. . I tried reaching out to the alleged owner, *****. He was playing mind games, not receptive, & appeared to be biased and defensive of ****** actions. In my opinion ***** promotes and welcomes ********* salesman business practices. ***** did state he had to speak with his manager to beat ***************. Perhaps that was *****. I feel ***** is a pretender, phoney, and is also a part of this Bait and Switch, false pretense, and false advertisement sales tactic. I also feel ***** was not receptive at all to this issue. ***** tried interrogating me and my daughter as if he was a superior judge.. However, We can go to court if we cant get resolved here.
