ECU Team is awesome!!! They cloned a ecu for my 2010 Xterra. To say I was nervous going this route is an understatement, but I walked away with a perfectly new to me ecu. The significance of this is due in the fact that Nissan no longer makes ECU’s for the Xterra. And finding one to match up with my make and model is basically impossible. Well, Team ECU did it and I couldn’t be happier. It works as a true plug and play. No codes no problems and my truck started right up! Super stoked to be driving my baby again. Thank you to ECU Team, you guys are very professional, competent, honest, and are great communicators. I’ve read through all of these reviews here on this BBB sit and it is quite apparent that these customers do not understand the work needed to remedy their issues. They all act like they’re very privileged and think less of these guys. And more over they’re complaining about issues that are mostly of their own making and also having unrealistic expectations. Remember this company is a rarity in this world. Very few place in the county, the world even, can do the kind of work they do. So for all these 1 star reviews should be looked at with significant caution as they are not the truth of the business practice that is being done.Review from Myles T

I was here May 26, 2023 for 1.5 hours of work on a long term issue with a BMW FRM module. I had FRM module codes. ****** is all talk and he doesn't even code (smoke and mirrors). His uncle hooked up my car to ISTA and cleared the codes and claim my FRM module was locked up. There's no such thing as a FRM module being locked up. Meanwhile, ****** left for one hour and the uncle was on the phone with some guy speaking in an another language telling him what to do on the phone while "working on my car" in the garage. My concerns weren't even fixed and the FRM fault codes came back as I drove away from the place within minutes. I notified ****** and he said to keep driving (see attached pic). In the end nothing was done. Their intention was to take my money and take no initiative in taking care of the problem at all. They told me to come back and we'd have to take the next step in diagnosis and repair which means more $$$$$. They begged me for great reviews as I left and ****** said: "Those codes will come back." They did come back and they didn't do anything to remedy the situation while I was there. Per another ECU repair shop the module shoudl've been removed, bench tested and evaulated. They did no work and took my money. They claimed they re-programmed my FRM module and and unlocked the frm module. It didn't need any of that the FRM needed to go on the bench test for repair. These guys are liars and scammers. No invoice or formal receipt was produced. All I was given is ISTA codes cleared out before and after lol. A lot of wasted time and bullshit for nothing. DO NOT COME HERE!!! I'm typing this to prevent anyone else coming here from being burned. I will report them to the BBB come Tuesday for shady business practices.They ony take Zelle and a week later I found out by calling my bank that I couldnt submit a claim for reimbursement.Review from Vickie A

I ordered a SKREEM module from ECU at the beginning of March for my car that would not start. I complained to this company and kept complaining the entire month of March because I never received the part. The tracking number they gave me states, "Pre-Shipment, Shipping Label ************* Awaiting Item, ******************, ** *****, March 30, 2023, 1:58 pm" and still states the same to this day. ECU said they would ship me another part overnight because this item had a warranty. It was not overnight; it took two days before I received the part. I took the part to the dealership and the dealership called me two weeks later stating the part did not work. I believe ECU sent me a defective part they knew didn't work. The first part took over a month for me to receive, with them saying, "the part is being processed, the part is being programmed, etc." One excuse after another and when they shipped the second part, it only took overnight for them to send it to me which is why I think it was defective and did not work. Needless to say, I want my money back.Review from Steven C

I ordered a part from these guys and when it did not work, I returned the item per the request which they received. I then talked to the guy multiple times and he said he will refund me two separate payments of $280. 2 weeks later, he said it wasnt going through and he was gonna pay me on Zelle, that was two weeks ago I have notified him multiple times. They are now ignoring my phone calls and text messages. I still have not seen a refund. I have all the text messages to prove the conversation as well as the shipping information from where they excepted the return, and have the item in hand.Review from Cameron S

Order put in on March 14th for a 2010 ******** C300 to have the *** repaired. They sent a invoice that had been paid in full, after which I was ghosted for the rest of the month, until one of my co workers got in touch with them from a different phone number and which they informed him of the first computer while trying to repair it went bad and that they had ordered a second one to program it. It has now been since mid April of repeated calls with no end. Ive been promised multiple times that I was going to receive my *** back and that they would send me a tracking number, which I never received. Monday after my last attempt to contact them they informed me that they were double checking everything before they sent it out, but they had told me every time Ive called the last three weeks that it was already on its way. Now they have $1,200.00 cash from me, lie to me on when Im getting it back and thats if I ever get it back.Review from Alfred J

This company has given false information and does not provide accurate information with regards to repairs and guarantees.
I found this company on your tube and contacted them through Facebook. They got back to me and I spoke with ****** ******* who advised me that they repair clusters and will notify me once they receive the cluster. It took a week for them to get back to me and only because I called them. They make you fill out a online form describing the issue you are having which I did. Then I spoke with ****** several times to get the correct information with regards to the Cluster and he assured me they will fix it. We agreed to a price of $300 for the repair and he sent me a bill for $326 and give me different reasons for the additional charge we agreed to another price of $317 which I paid the same day. ****** then told me I would have my cluster back by Wednesday as my payment was made on a Monday. Wednesday came and ****** sends me an email requesting my address, which was all on the online form I completed. I finally received my unit on Monday the following week. I installed the cluster and the problem still existed. I contacted ****** and he then put me on hold and put the technician on the phone but not to speak with him as he only spoke Russian as ****** translated which we came to no resolution. I asked to speak with a supervisor and ****** told me he was the supervisor. I took the car to BMW and they confirmed that the cluster was not working. BMW sent me a video explaining this so I forwarded the video to ECU Team to view. They disagreed with BMW and then told me to get another Cluster send it to them and they will transfer over my information or purchase a used cluster from then for $600. I asked for my money back as they did not repair my unit and then ****** put on his boss who also only spoke Russian not even sure if it was his boss when I did not agree with those options ****** told me "We are through with you" and hung up the phone. I do not know what kind of business this is but they surely do not care about the customer nor the results that they claim.ECU Team Corp. Response

We absolutely do not care about the customers who do not want to understand the resolution to their problem. We do not care about customers who do not value our time and knowledge. We do however treat every customer properly and with respect but when it comes down to crying and shouting when we tell you what needs to be done there is nothing more disrespectful than crying over the company or a person that tries to help you. You never provided properly documents and we did not see the veteran card which gives you a discount on the items. The pricing that we were discussing was without the shipping and taxes. We advise you as a good customer to fix your bmw "cluster repair" at the dealer. For those reading this comment, the cluster was repaired. We sent out the video to him.
