40 dollars for 2 small grapefruit and 2 yellow oranges. The fruit wasn't sweet. Next year I'll just hand my money over to the kids and you can keep the fruit. Really disappointed.Review from Sharon G

I hv purchased for more than 15yrs through a fund raiser. The box of navel oranges hv always been great. This yr I paid $45 for a box of oranges that were inedible. I contacted the company regarding their “satisfaction guarantee”. Picked up the fruit on Tues, I called company on Thurs to advise about the problem. I received an email saying they hv determined I am entitled to a $30 refund. I am a senior citizen living alone. I would love to know how they calculated the percentage. They think I could have eaten a third of the full box of navel oranges in 2 days??? Ridiculous and even more disappointing than the bitter, moldy tasting small oranges. Buyer beware, simply give what donation you can afford to the charity using Indian River. For me personally, $45 is a sizable portion of my monthly grocery budget. In years past the fruit has been worth the $$. I cannot support a company with questionable “satisfaction guarantee”. There was no satisfaction with the nasty fruit (taken to the landfill with my other waste) and definitely no satisfaction with the refund. Counting gas for the 45 mile round trip to pick up the fruit plus the $15 penalty for buying the fruit, this was a costly mistake.Review from Marilyn M

I ordered two trays of HoneyBells that arrived yesterday. I buy them every year but, this year, my regular supplier ran out. I wanted the usual Florida HoneyBells that I enjoy. I decided to try your company which advertised HoneyBells being available. 1. These oranges look beautiful on the outside but are tart and bitter. Definitely, not the HoneyBells I've had in my lifetime. 2. They are not juicy at all. 3. I can't eat them and it cost a lot to buy them and have them shipped here. Did you substitute the western HOneyBells without telling the customers? Or, was this just an unsweet batch of oranges that look great on the outside but are terrible on the inside?It looks like you have many satisfied customers but I am NOT satisfied. I ordered a fruit basket for a business event at our office because I wanted a healthy alternative to the typical pastries and junk food. It was a hit! Everyone commented about what a beautiful display it was and how nice it was to have something both healthy and delicious. The mandarin oranges were juicy and delicious. Purchased as a fundraiser for my nephew's high school band. Naval oranges tasted old and dry. Emailed company since they had a quality guarantee and they promised to send replacement fruit which I never received. I ordered an 8 pack of oranges to support my school's band trip...big mistake! I wish I could have just given he $20 to the band directly. The oranges were so dross! Their color was basically yellow, not orange. They were definitely not ripe and obviously not fresh. The taste was the worst part though. Disgusting. Never again! I ordered navels, apples and pears through a school fundraiser. The apples were overripe and mealy. The oranges were very tart and the pears were quite bruised. I will not be ordering again. This was not what expected of Indian River Groves.Florida Indian River Groves Response

I was extremely pleased with the response from Indian River Groves for addressing my concerns, They apologized and sent me an upgraded replacement for the order which had some problems. I received very nice naval oranges that were excellent. I also heard from other people that ordered from my granddaughter. They were very pleased with their citrus orders. So, thank you Indian River Grove for making me a satisfied customer. ****** *********
