      Ordered merchandise from this company on 12 Jan 2024 for $216 under order #*****. Seemed legitimate as I patiently anticipated the order arrival. It's been over 2 months, and nothing has arrived. Contacted the company and they come back with the typical "items back ordered" delay tactic. Gave this company a chance and looking at other customer complaints on this company, it now seems that I will be left with the 'empty bag'. Never again...Hopeful for refund and nothing else.

      I purchased online calendars from this company on August 4, 2023 that resulted in a total cost of $ ****** Order # *****. Their policy states that they need up to 7 days to ship items. It has now been 18 days since I order the calendars and I have made several phone calls and left voice messages that someone return the call and either give me an accurate shipping date or refund my full amount paid which is $ ****** . To date no one has returned any of my calls and I have not received any email communication about shipment delays are anything. I heard through a recording with BBB the number of the same type of complaints that has been filed against this business. Can you help me either get refunded or they ship the items I paid for? Thank you kindly!

      This company is unscrupulous in handling customer orders. I filed a complaint against Its a Black Thing back in August. with. BBB and the company responded and told me they had half of my order, and that the other half was to be in their facility by the end of that week. This has been 4 weeks now already and still nothing. At this point we want to be fully refunded including the shipping charges ..IMMEDIATELY.

      I checked on the refund and it was processed a few days ago (Aug 28). It's probably still listed as a pending transaction. The customer can call their bank to confirm.

      Place an order on 4/17/23 and was charged for the merchandise. I have not recieved the merchandie - order status is unfilled. I have contacted the vendor 2 times by the email provided on their website - *********************************** - with no response. I have contact them 2 times on the insta chat feature - eacht time the response is "Thanks for contacting **! One of tour representatives will get back to you shortly. Ihave used this business in the past with no issues. With so many businesses struggling, It is of concern that they have gone zero dark, yet are still acception orders - esp in light of it being Mothers day and thay are promoting a Mothers Day sale!

      We checked on the customers order and one of the items she ordered was on back order and it's due to arrive early next week. She should have received an email to inform her of the status and we want to apologize to her for any inconvenience. As the customer mentioned, she has shopped with ** numerous times with no issues and if she still wants the order, we will refund the shipping as a token of good faith. By the way, we haven't gone dark. We're just a bit shorthanded but by ***** of God we're still moving forward. Yes, we have ongoing promotions, and we have orders coming in and shipping out everyday.

      On Oct 22 2021 I place order number #XXXXX with It's a Black Thang for $85.25 each time I checked the store website the status is pending. I have emailed vendor twice through their site and left two voice messages on their phone with no response. Vendor has lovely product I was looking forward to receiving the order. Being a small business owner I understand shipping is taking a little longer these days, but the status is pending they have not pulled my order in 18 days. I wish I had seen all the complaint against them before I ordered. I would like your assistance in getting a refund from vendor. Thank You,

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/12) */ I checked this customers account and she was not notified about the issues with the backlog of international shipping until a few days ago. Several of the items she ordered was caught up in that fiasco. But as I mentioned, she was not notified about it in a timely manner, so that was on us. We've contacted lots of customers that were affected by this issue but we made a mistake and overlooked her order and of course Murphy will always raise his ugly head. Actually, four of the six items she ordered had just arrived and we had set those items to ship. But she sent us an email and asked for the order to be cancelled and we responded and informed her that four of the six items were ready to ship and we asked if she still wanted them. But she never responded and contacted the BBB instead, so I guess that was a no. :-) But anyway, this issue was my fault and I take full responsibility for making the mistake. We cancelled her order and issued a full refund. Thankfully most of the backorder items she ordered have finally arrived and orders are shipping right away and we have lots of inventory coming in next week. But it sounds like we lost a customer and I always hate when that happens. Even though we've been in business for over 20 years and we have thousands of customers all over the world that shop with us year after year, I still feel sad when we lose a customer and they don't join the ItsABlackThang.com family. But we learn from every situation and hopefully by the grace of God we will continue to get many more opportunities to make a better first impression.       I trying to purchase xmas cards for the holidays and it's been over 30 days and want them before xmas...

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/08) */ We responded to the customer and explained to him that the cards are printed overseas and there is a backlog of international shipping that's causing extreme delays within the worldwide supply chain system. We explained to him that his order would ship as soon as the cards arrived. His order shipped on Oct 27th and we sent a shipping confirmation email and the tracking number. He filed this complaint on Oct 28th, the day after his order had already shipped!? The backlog of international shipping and the COVID-19 issues are obviously well beyond our span of control but these issues are well advertised and all over the media. But some people seem to think that we're immune to these issues and don't deserve the same level of understanding they would give any other business. As I mentioned, his order has shipped and he received his Christmas cards in plenty of time, but for us, potential customers will be able to read his complaint for the next three years.       On April 11,2021 I placed a order for a board game . My credit cared was charged. They said, Our normal delivery time is about 7-10 business days after you place your order. However due to the COVID-19 pandemic the delivery time may be longer.On April 22,2021 I sent a email requesting the status of my order. The reply was, We had to reorder the board games and they will be in next week. Your order will ship as soon as they come in. This is a open end delivery date. I email again on May 2,2021 to request status or a refund. NO Reply. If they are going to ship it. I should not pay for shipping. for the convenience. order/invoice #XXXXX

When I provided her the update, the vendor had not shipped the games so we didn't have an exact date of arrival. So it was not an open ended delivery date. I simply did not have an exact date to give her. I checked our email and the customer sent an email over the weekend but she never gave us a chance to respond. We receive a high volume of emails and phone calls, so it may take us 2-3 business days to respond. We clearly indicate that under the Customer Service link at the top of our website. My credit card has been refunded my suggestion to the company is don't charge until you ship the product thank case closed
