I originally entered into an agreement with CES to rent some vacation getaways I had access to. I paid them almost $2,394 to secure the properties for market. I have been trying to get in touch with this company since then to remedy this situation. My last contact was on March 2nd, 2022 when I was unable to get ahold of anyone, but a few months before that I was told I would be receiving an offer. I have not heard from this company since. Now, there phone number is disconnected. I am at a loss as to what to do.Please help me.Initial Complaint

CES Rentals Contacted me shortly after we closed on our purchase of a Marriott Vacation Club timeshare. They did inform us they are not affiliated with Marriott when we asked but said they work with MVC members to sell there unused interval international weeks that we get. They said they have customers lined up who need rooms, and we would get our investment returned within weeks. The package was $2,394.00, paid by credit card on 11/25/19. They reached out a few times with emails asking if i had availability for a hotel under our interval package and list date/bedrooms needed. Every request was for a hotel that had no availability for the dates needed months in advance. I would reply with a different week/bedroom option and receive an email stating they would offer it and follow-up if it works out. It never did. The last inquiry I received from CES rentals was on 12/1/2020, in which I replied "Yes, we have that hotel and date available"! They replied, that they forwarded this information to the corporation that made the request and would contact us once they responded. No contact was made to us from CES following this. I believe they simply have an interval International account as well, they check the un-available dates and send those to us just so they can put on a front that they are a legitimate company. (I wanted to test this theory, so even though I did not have the date available for their inquiry on 12/1/2020 I said I did and would you know it they went silent and never responded!! Theory proved- they scammed me and so many others. Close them down ASAP.Initial Complaint

We gave the business "permission" to rent out our timeshare vacation weeks for $800/week (six total) with an $1800 start up fee. (Originally the fee was $2400 but since we used our American Express card to pay for it, we were only charged $1800.) This was in December of 2020. Fast forward to early 2021 when the pandemic hit and business travel came to a halt, and they "allowed" us to renew the six-month membership continuously at no extra charge until they were able to reserve all of the six weeks. What became a guarantee of earned income became a rare opportunity to make even our original investment back. I called and emailed about six months ago to tell them how unhappy we were and found out they do not have any way to contact them (phone and email have been shut down). We have been contacted by other companies asking the same of usto sell our weeks to business travelersand when I told them our current predicament, they said that if we signed a contract with them (the new company), it would force CES to have to pay us back. Many representatives of the other companies have also said that CES has a "good reputation" and that they were surprised to hear we've had such a negative experience.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/26) */ We understand your concerns. Upon review it shows offers have continuously been sent to the email address on file. We have also had IT check our phone and email system and they did not find any errors or "shut down" notices. We will have them run a diagnostic again to ensure accuracy for calls and emails and will follow up with an update. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/10/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I called CES (at the phone number listed on all documentation) several times on 10/27/21 beginning at 2:33 pm Mountain Time. The exact message at this number is: "I'm sorry. The number you dialed cannot be reached from your calling area. Thank you for calling. Goodbye." The number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. There is no way to contact any person directly or leave a message. I have not received an email of an offer since 1/4/21.Initial Complaint

I was contacted by the CES in May of 2020, stating they would rent out my timeshare for six weeks to different companies. They said I would receive a check for roughly $700 each time. I paid CES $1,800 for this service, expecting a significant return on my investment. CES has not provided the service that I paid for. I did not realize this was a scam until September 2020. Additionally, my timeshare company started that these companies are a scam. I am trying to recoup my money. CES is found under several names and addresses such as: Owners Rental TXC, Corporate Event Services, Corporate Event Solutions, Inc.Initial Complaint

Paid a fee of $1,800 to CES Rentals on 5/21/2020 to market and rent out 6 of my RCI weeks. They stated that the guarantee to rent them out for a minimum of $1,250 per week before 180 days. They have not rented any weeks and extended the contract of an additional 180 days. Both of these time periods are up and I would like my money back for services not rendered. I also cannot contact them now on the number they provided me. It says the number does not accept calls from my area and hangs up. I am inclined to believe this is scam at this point.
