I am not liable for this debt with Pentagon ********************* I do not have a contract with Axiom Acquisition Ventures LLC. They did not provide me with the original contract as I requested. I demand this account be removed from my credit report.

We have reviewed the account for ************************* and found all actions taken by AAV to be completely lawful and compliant.  AAV does not report to credit bureaus so AAV has not had any ill effects on ********************** credit.  AAV is a passive debt buyer - we do not collect debts.  AAV has not ever received a request from ****************** for verification of her debt.  ********************** account has been placed with a 3rd party legal collections firm.

The account is not mine and I asked them to validate the debt and they couldn't. I know the law 15 USC1681 Congressional findings and statement of purpose (a) Accuracy and fairness of credit reporting The Congress makes the following findings:(1) The banking system is dependent upon fair and accurate credit reporting. Inaccurate credit reports directly impair the efficiency of the banking system, and unfair credit reporting methods undermine the public confidence which is essential to the continued functioning of the banking system.(2) An elaborate mechanism has been devel- oped for investigating and evaluating the credit worthiness, credit standing, credit capacity, character, and general reputation of consumers.(3) Consumer reporting agencies have assumed a vital role in assembling and evaluating con- sumer credit and other information on con- ******.(4) There is a need to insure that consumer re- porting agencies exercise their grave respon- sibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a re- spect for the consumers right to privacy.(b) Reasonable procedures It is the purpose of this subchapter to require that consumer reporting agencies adopt reason- able procedures for meeting the needs of com- merce for consumer credit, personnel, insurance, and other information in a manner which is fair and equitable to the consumer, with regard to the confidentiality, accuracy, relevancy, and proper utilization of such information in accord- ance with the requirements of this subchapter.(Pub. L. *****, title VI, 602, as added Pub. L. *****, title VI, 601, Oct. 26, ****, 84 Stat. ****.)

We have reviewed ************** account and find that all communication attempts and account actions were fully compliant and follow all state and federal rules & regulations.  I have attached the Validation letter that was sent to ************** on July 14, 2023 (sent by ************************ - a legal and compliant third-party agency). The validation letter follows the **** guidelines to ***. As a policy, AAV does not report delinquent accounts to the credit bureaus.

I am not liable for this debt with achieve personal loans. I do not have a contract with AXIOM AQUISITION VENTURES, they did not provide me with the original contract as I requested.

      Business response

We have reviewed the details of this complaint and have also reviewed all account activity/notes. All communication with ***************** has been both compliant and professional.  AAVs policy/procedure is that we do not report any consumer information to the credit bureaus so any adverse credit reporting is not connected to AAV's compliant efforts to collect a debt.  AAV purchased this loan on 11/30/2022.  As of today, this account has been placed on hold so that we can address this complaint.

In reviewing the account, there is no record of ***************** disputing the debt with our office or agents directly.   AAV has also never received a request from ****************** for a VOD (verification of debt),which we would be happy to provide if requested.

I had a very old credit card account with BBVA bank which was closed about 4-5 years ago. due to financial hardship and COVID situation, no activity, then BBVA Bank closed down in ****** think they sold the old closed account to **********************. I received a letter from attorney ******** from *******. I sent a debt validation request letter with some question, she never responded to the questions except few copy of statements. I asked also, how much did the Axiom paid for my old closed account to BBVA, they don't respond to any letters.

We have reviewed ****************** account and confirmed that every communication between AAV and ****************** was professional, compliant, and respectful of state and federal laws/regulations.  ****************** last payment on this debt was 8/19/2019 well within any Statute of Limitations for debt collection suits.  AAV became the owner of this debt on 4/15/2020 which has been communicated to ****************** through timely and compliant methods.

      Complaint: 20092742

I am rejecting this response because:

We want to resolve the issue as soon as possible in good faith.
This is a very old credit card account (7 years old) which was closed some 5-6 years ago.  The BBVA Bank is no longer in existence in *******. Most of the $3,000 credit card debt was due to accumulative high interest rates. Due to severe financial hardship and COVID situation, we were unable to pay. We can offer one-time payment for final settlement of $1,500 with both party agreement. But we want to deal directly with Axiom in ******* and not *******, ** and send the check to them. The court system in ***** due to COVID situation is about 2-3 years backlog.
We had one page debt verification that it takes only 5 minutes to respond by Axiom for following reason. Every day, million ********* are getting calls and letters from *****, Africa, *********** America that they tell ********* if they dont pay them, they will harm them or take them to court. Many Elderly ********* lost every day all their saving. We see many financial scams in the news every day.  How do we trust? If we cant ask any business in ***** or other places for any validation questions and just pay them when they call you or send you a letter. In 2022, there was over $10 billions scam in *** just by sending letters or mail or calls that you owe money from very old account. see below.
They are telling us to pay the full amount for a 7 years old closed account from a Bank which was closed years ago.
