First time with Caldeco and so far I'm very happy.

I have used Caldeco for five years now. The technicians are very professional and knowledgeable. They explain everything and answers all your questions. Always been on time and friendly. I have their maintenance which you get service every six months. I am very happy with their service.

RIP-OFF, run before considering using new AC from this company or signing yearly service. The company installed a new system at the end of 2020 and I paid $6733, the system warranty is ten years for part. I signed the yearly service for the system ever since. Two weeks ago, during their regular maintenance, a tech called me and stated the internal system coil leaking, and I needed to pay for the 4 hours of labor, $125 per hour, a total charge to my surprise $1993, itemized as follows. 1- Recharge R-410 $53/unit total of 11 units = $583 2- Replace Evaporator coil under part warranty =$714 3- Replace TXV under part warranty = $34 4- Labor charge per hour for additional service $125 for 4 hours =$500 5- Electronic Leak = $162 I told the tech that my previous internal AC unit was installed in the same place in my attic and that for 15 years never called a technician once, why did this system fail within 31 months? He stated that the coil leak could be due to vibration. For the system to vibrate that hard means the system was not installed and secured correctly, and now I must pay for a poor job that the company did. I emailed the company president Rick Caldevilla to complain about how the system was installed and the excessive labor cost to repair. He provided a discount, and I still ended up paying $1493. To me, this scam and rip-off or whatever you want to call it. Whatever you do, stay away from this company, and now I prefer using my regular mom-and-pop and technician, it will cost you less in the long run.

We were on vacation and needed service. They came out and repaired the unit but charge 1000% mark-ups on the capacitor and contactor they replaced, items I can buy anywhere - exact OEM or the parts they used - for $20 each, they charge $200 each. I certainly understand the need to make money on parts, but jeese-o-pete guys. We bought the system in our home from your company and have always been please with your work, but you can forget about us ever using you again.

Carlos M**** M****** who was the tech that came out was so nice and very knowledgeable with his job and if there was something he didn't know off hand, he contacted the office and found out. I definitely give him five stars, if i could give him twenty stars i would. i definitely recommend this company especially having Mr. M****** on their team. Caldeco Mechanical Services Inc. is an amazing company and i recommend any one that's having issues with their ac to definitely hire this company!! Great Job
