I suspected a mouse was in my apt on 6/11 after hearing squeaking and finding a bag of unopened granola on top of my fridge gnawed through & droppings all over . I called the office to investigate and was told pest control comes on Friday. 6/12 i called to follow up my request . Maintenance came and a large rat was found behind the fridge It wasn’t caught but two babies were. Small traps were placed and i was told pest control would come. 6/16 they came but didn’t enter my apt. Only left a note slipped in my door and a large glue trap outside my door. No one had entered to investigate,set more traps, or extraction. 6/17 at midnight i encountered the rat on my shower curtain and running through my bathroom. I was told initially my situation wasn’t emergent so i didn’t call emergency line. I was unable to rest or feel safe. 6/18 when the office opened i reported again and was told pest control would come the upcoming Friday. Maintenance set one large trap.I expressed my concerns further to no avail. I paid for two nights hotel stay. Was told it wouldnt be reimbursed. Pest control came 6/19 after I demanded someone to come. A rat was caught. Proof was shown but it was not the same rat. I wasnt provided with numbers for upper management only emails. I requested to speak with upper management since the person at the office couldnt resolve the issue. She was communicating with them, but i was not given opportunity to speak with them. No calls/ reply to my emails until a facebook post was made. Regional manager called but had not read email. From there hotel stay was provided and reimbursed. No actions were taken except for what I requested. The whole situation was basically set traps and good luck or we caught it you can go back now. I request the unit be inspected and sanitized. No solutions were provided from Management aside from my requests. A lot of excuses were given and poor management of chain of command. We’ve had a meeting and resolution in progress.
