This is the worst moving company. They damaged all my stuff and then want me to fill out this claim that wants copies of records they should have and pictures. If its not filled out just right they reject it.

We moved from ******** to *****. ***** our moving specialist in ** where we also have a home located at ********************************************** *****, Im here for your move from start to finish. Havent heard from him after sales call and money sent. Guaranteed pick up of boxes/furniture on the scheduled day, 5 days before before move out of home. One day before move out of home the moving company said see you at 8:00AM. Arrived at 5PM and still packing truck at 10:00PM. Called, many different 800 numbers, so called personal lines, also ***** ******** customer service to ****************** and Allegiant and no one returned calls. New home furniture delivery on schedule for August 20 2021 in *****. Received call from a Virginia cell# regarding our move. Phoned ***** or anyone who would answer a questions regarding call. No return phone calls for over two weeks as to when our furniture might be delivered.Upon delivery the driver seemed high on drugs & angry driving from ******** last minute, however, the highlight was the young men the driver hired via ********** from ***** were the most professional, polite young men. Having over paid, underdelivered & a senior citizen which they so heavily market with a so called discount feel abused. We have numerous items never delivered, forced to sign the **** of laden and exhausted with this company never reported missing.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We had a horrible experience with Mile High Van Lines that started after they took our deposit. Our salesperson grossly underquoted us on the moving estimate. She quoted us 450 cubic square feet of space based on industry standards and we ended up using 600 cubic feet. Keep in mind, we put our deposit down in January for a pickup at the end of July and we purged a TON of stuff in between, so had we not, we would have easily taken up double the space quoted. She would ask us something like How many medium sized boxes do you think youll need? Which we had no idea (how would we? they are the experts) Then she would say I think you need 20, turns out we used 50. When they are pitching the sale, the salesperson reiterates over and over that the price is binding, but down at the bottom of the contract, it states that the price is binding, unless you go over the quoted amount of space, in which youll pay whatever the price is per cubic foot that goes over. So, essentially, its not binding at all, but theyll use that tactic to make you think youre covered. Day of pickup: As we paid for the Full Pack the deal was that the movers come to your place, pack everything up professionally, and load it onto the truck. On the day of our pickup, the movers came, packed everything up (we were not there, went out to run errands to stay out of their way and buy them lunch). When we returned, the movers and the ******* were sitting in the living with all the boxes, which was surprising. Then the ******* informed us that before they pack up the truck that we needed to sign a piece of paper stating that we agree to pay an unknown amount of money that would be decided after they pack the truck up. At this point, we had no choice as it was the last day on our lease, so we signed it after some arguing with the ******* about how uncool this process was. So, they basically put you in a position where you have no choice but to put your signature on a paper that says youll pay whatever they tell you to. Noticing how shady this was, I insisted on paying with credit card, which was a whole other thing. He was REFUSING credit card at first, then after speaking with whoever, said it was OK as long as I filled out a form, which I did. But then he insisted on taking front and back pictures of my ID and credit card, in what world is that normal??? When all was said and done, the ******* apologized for the process and then went on to bash the company and tell me about how many other customers got screwed over by Mile High Van Lines. With our package, one free month of storage was included, but we needed three months total. The two extra months were an additional charge, which we were OK with, but when the time came, we would just get a text from some random number saying we needed to pay for our storage (they didnt even mention they were with Mile High) and that we needed to send money by Zelle to some random email or phone number. When we asked for a receipt, the guy just sent a screen shot of the Zelle transactionnothing that said Mile High Van Lines on it, nothing that said how long the storage was good for, nothing. When we reached out to Mile High afterward, they just kept saying that theyd get us a receipt, which they finally did after the second storage fee was paid. Since our suspicions were extremely high at this point, we inquired to Mile high about where our stuff was, to which they responded, were not sure, well get back to you, which they never did. The only reason we ever found out was when the storage guy called us for our second payment because we werent returning his texts. The day of delivery went fine. The driver was nice, although he didnt bring any employees to help because he said the labor came out his pocket and the company didnt pay him enough. My partner and I ended up helping him unload most of it. But after everything was unloaded, that was it, he didnt reassemble any of the furniture, which was supposed to come with the package. The delivery person also did not go over any sort of inventory/manifest that shows that all our belongings were delivered. After delivery/unpacking: Half of our boxes looked like that poor *** box from the opening scene of Ace Ventura. Damaged/broken goods- stand up mirror, bookshelf, tv stand, shelf, record player, records, bedside lamp, vases. The movers didnt use any bubble wrap or filler in the boxes, just threw random stuff and taped them up. They also delivered someone elses bed frame Anyone missing a bed frame? In retrospect, we would have been better off giving everything away and starting over with the money we paid them. This company makes a ***** drug dealer look like a Fortune 500 company. I never write reviews, but this was a truly horrible experience and if it saves one other person from having to go through what we did, then itll be worth it. I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Do not use this company. They are a bait and switch organization that employees 3rd party delivery services that will literally destroy your personal items. The signed contract means nothing, they will charge you more for the delivery. They hold your items for ******* until you pay an arbitrary full amount far exceeding the contract totals. In our case $1900 more than the signed contract. If you want your personal items destroyed then go ahead and employ them. Any good reviews are from company employees or paid services they have bought- don't believe them.

This company is a SCAM. What is said up front with the sale's person and when the movers actually arrive are very different. The movers try to extort more money from you by threating they will only move certain items. Thinking that you have no other alternative but to use them. The treatment of your belongings is terrible resulting in many broken items. Look elsewhere.

Do not hire this moving company. It started out on lies when the salesman Joey told us that the company is rated A+ with the BBB and have a 5* review on Google. Upon looking up the company I found they are not accredited at ALL with the BBB and they have awful reviews. We were assured that our household items would be to destination before the date we would most likely request and that everything would be in storage at destination and then delivered when we requested. When I called to give the exact date I found out our items were in storage at the pick up location and had not even started the move to the destination, but still we were told the day we picked would be fine. Our items were 25 days past the date we requested being delivered. They only sent 2 people to unload a 26 ft truck that included a piano. The 2 people they sent were not even made aware there was a piano and were not told how to do the paperwork. The driver was not there at delivery to go over the inventory sheets leaving me and my husband to make sure everything was there and record all damages while also trying to take care of our baby. Upon multiple things going wrong at delivery no one could get a hold of Tom, the owner of the company. Only for him to call back the next day once everything was figured out. They also did not reassemble the furniture they took apart like they said they would. We had to help lift the piano and inventory every single item.  If I wrote out every detail of the lies and awful experience I would have a novel.

This is the worst company I have dealt with. Charged 3 times more than my quote. Arrived a day late and second day showed up with a broken truck. They kept leaving to go to dr and another to a dentist appointment. Took more than 13 hours to load a small 2 bedroom townhome. Please call another mover. You at be so sorry if you choose to deal e joe or tom

The worst company I have ever dealt with and I have moved at least ten times in my lifetime. Run as fast as you can away from them. Where do I begin? First I was assured two trucks would show up until two days before. I spoke with the boss and he would not supply two trucks. So, my husband and I rented a 20 foot ****** and a 15 foot ****** as we knew the one truck would not hold our things. We filled the two ****** trucks ourselves and unloaded them as well. On move day they showed up at 2:00 PM and the first thing was we don't think the one truck will hold everything. No kidding! I told the boss person and owner no way would 1 truck hold a 3,000 square foot house and garage with large fine wood furniture. The owner can care less about customers. Every other word from the foreman was "that is extra" and this move will cost you more. I have to redo your contract. They finally finished packing at 10PM. I explained over and over that we have fine wood custom Amish furniture and that it must be handled without damage. They promised to wrap and take extra care. Well the opposite happened. My $8,000 dining set came damaged with table legs completely scratched up from not being wrapped and 1 dining chair broken. It is a priceless set now forever broken. Our Amish wood outdoor set was not wrapped and came looking like it had been in a war zone. We asked them to carry it around the house to the deck instead of taking a large sofa through the house and again the first word was well that is extra. Our yard is tiny but everything is extra. I must have heard that at least 20 times during the move. On delivery day they again showed up around 2 PM and around 5 they got a call from the boss. Suddenly they were in a hurry and were just slinging stuff everywhere. My husband assembled everything despite it was to be included. My fine leather sofa was not damaged and they acted liked they were dong me a favor for getting it there. They claim a second stop is free but again well that is extra came from their mouths. They finished at 7:30. It was a total nightmare and terrible experience. I have always moved with the national van lines and so sorry I tried a local business. I believe these people are con artists and do everything they can to get more money and deliver your possessions with damage, are are completely careless. At the end of the move they asked my husband for a tip - you got to be kidding. We tipped the foreman the night before the delivery and said please if you deliver with no damage we will tip you more. What a joke of a company.

Terrible Service. Cannot be trusted. Outright lied to me with witnesses. Overcharged me. Damaged my property and offered a minimal sum to get me to sign a liability release. THEY HAVE AN ATTORNEY ON RETAINER! That right there should tell you their modus operandi. They said they would use one truck/one load/one unload. They picked up my goods, tried to change the terms that morning when I knew I had no choice due to timing. Driver called in then told me, with witnesses, that they would use one truck. Then, 2 days later, an independent driver called and said he had my stuff and was enroute to our new home and needed cash to do the delivery. This second driver even said, "this is the worst company I have ever worked with. Very sorry, but I have no choice now. I'll never work with them again." 2 of the unloaders did not even speak any English, I assume they are not legal to work here, and were not covered under any insurance. PS: if someone is working in your home as an independent contractor they must have their own workers comp insurance. If they don't and they get hurt they can sue YOU, the HOMEOWNER. Several items were damaged. Even at 60 cents/lb, they refused to pay. They also over charged me. Original Estimate was based on $4.50/cuft. There was never any direct measurement of cubic feet to be moved. I offered to let their salesperson come look at our house, but they declined. The original estimate was intentionally low, an old trick that movers have used for year and I knew that. The primary factor and what won them the contract was the $4.50/cuft. The driver walked around, not measuring anything, and visually estimated 1050 cuft. He said it was not binding and they would not start unless I agreed. I hate being the subject of pressure sales tactics, but we had to be out and there was no time to get anyone else. They knew this, of course. They did not measure the cuft actually loaded; they only counted the sections of the truck (loaded to the 7th spar) and said that was close enough. Well, they can’t do basic math. There are 12 supports/spars inside their truck resulting in 12 sections. The first and last being half size of the rest. They claim a truck holds 1800cuft (no measurements offered or given, just their claim) and that comes to 150 cuft/section, except the first and last sections at 75 cuft. So, if the truck is really 1800 cuft, that means about 150 cuft/section and the first and last sections are only 75 cuft. 150 x 11 + 75 + 75 = 1800. Our goods came to the end of the 7th spar. They claimed that meant 7 x 150 = 1050 cuft. The total cuft, using their own method, would be 6x150+75=975 cuft. I will start a lawsuit soon, but I can't file this complaint if a lawsuit has been filed, so I am filing this first. In summary, I suggest you RUN THE OTHER WAY!!! We have moved 12 times, this has, by far, been the worst we have been treated. We have had other moves with more losses, but the treatment by the company Mile High Van Lines is what I find deplorable and despicable.

Omg where do I start?! Promised to be there at the morning on move day didn't show up til 3:15pm. Promised 5-6 movers 2 showed up 1 was first day as Foreman and it was clear he was in over his head. We got their truck set in our mountain property driveway which is a bit tenuous then had to leave to return rental car during which time they repositioned their truck a completely different way. Supposed to be a 1cday move with one 26 ft truck. Ended up taking 3 days and 2 trucks. Their loading of the truck was loose and left a lot of unused space. They didn't wrap furniture until the last few items. Upon trying 2 leave 1st day they proceeded to drive off our driveway into our soggy grass from snowmelt sinking their truck to it's axles on 1 side tipping it to one side with all off our belongings inside. They ended up staying overnight at our home eating our steak dinner drinking beer smoking pot asked for a ride to town (1 HR each way) ate egg and steak breakfast we had to wake them in the am when the tow came. They still didn't get to work right away took til 10am for that and slow moving at that. At end of day upon leaving they upcharge me $1600+ saying they have to cone back trucks full. 3 days later I get a call from their boss saying they're gonna upcharge me again another $4600+ . All this time I have been in contact with the original company I contracted with because evidently they farm these jobs out who knew. Regardless everyone knew of the contracted price , the delays and short help they came with the damage to my property the putting them up for the night etc and now this. Ultimately they say pay the upcharge you have this much stuff and whatever we cost you doesn't matter. I got them to reduce it by $1000.00 but they lost $252.00 somewhere so had to pay that again to get my delivery which still has not come and I can't reach anyone to get help in that regard. So yah fun stuff! My advise move yourself or sell everything and buy new when you get where you're going.
