We were staying in *********, ** for one night on 6/25/23 down the road from ********** restaurant. My wife placed a food order with ********** between 8 and 8:30pm from the hotel room through their online ordering system/website for, I believe, 3 items totaling $76.94 with tax and tip. A grilled chicken sandwich, fish sandwich, and pretzel. I arrived shortly thereafter and picked up the order which was sitting at the front and bagged up. The restaurant was empty from what I could see with no other food orders sitting there and the bartender at the front, who seemed inebriated to me but that's just my opinion, fumbled around to give me the bag and I returned to the hotel. Upon returning to the hotel, we unbagged the ordered and saw an item was missing, the pretzel. My wife and son start eating and as I'm getting ready to go back and get the pretzel, we discover the fish sandwich, which my 2 year old son has already taken a bite of, is completely raw on the inside. Understandably, between that and the missing item, I am upset. I return to the restaurant, ask for the manager, and give the sandwich to the same bartender who only says "Shit..". and takes it back. Another server appears and seems to know they left the pretzel out as well. The female shift manager I talk to, who was very matter of fact and barely apologetic, offers to remake the sandwich and the pretzel. I refuse, I just want a refund for the pretzel and fish and hope my son doesn't get sick. However, she tells me because it was through this online system they cannot refund me and I have to jump through hoops and contact a corp. office the next day. I'm not happy about it, but I eventually get the card for **********************************. My wife calls within the next day or two. We have not heard back. I initially just wanted a refund for the 2 items, but after all of this and no contact, I would like a full refund of $76.94. Honestly, the worst experience I've had in my life at a restaurant.
