Mr ******** and his son took a tour on our 6 p***enger airboat experience. They were provided a private tour on our brand new 6 p***enger airboat. They said the tour was amazing at the time of the tour, and then wrote negative reviews providing false information on various internet review sites. The tour that Sea Serpent Tours provided was an upgraded tour from what the client originally purchased at no extra charge. Also the client utilized our military discount code and would not provide a copy of their military ID card. We are requesting a copy of each members military ID card before removing the military discount from the original booking. When we called the client and requested a copy of same, the person we spoke to said “**** you mother ****er, we are gonna due your ***”. It was unclear if the person saying this was Mr. ******** or if this was someone else.

This will serve as a final request that each member of the party provide a copy of their military ID card.

      Thank you,

      ******* ******

Client has now admitted that they provided false information on the original complaint/reviews by stating that they paid $99 per ticket when in fact they only paid $79.96 per ticket plus applicable sales tax and booking online fees. The information originally provided was simply false in nature.
Client has admitted that they did not ride on the “Sea Dragon 17 passenger” airboat as originally stated, they rode on the “Fire Dragon 6 passenger” airboat with only 4 people total on the boat. This was a private tour offered to this client due to mechanical issues on the Sea Serpent airboat. This too is an admission of false information originally provided.
Client acknowledged during the checkout process that a non-expired form of validation is REQUIRED (see attached) in order to receive the discount applied for. Client also waived their rights to dispute any charges in the event that they were unable to provide same. Client failed to provide valid “Active Duty” Military IDs at the time of tour, and then later (once required through the BBB complaint portal) to overt additional charges for falsely using the military discount code, the client provided a retired/veteran ID, and an “expired” dependent ID (see attached) for someone with the same name that appears to have never even served on active duty in the US military. Use of the military discount code is an honor, and reserved for “Active Duty” military personal. Using that code during the checkout process is based on the honor system, and then validated at the time of tour by presenting a valid (not expired) active-duty military ID card which was never provide by the client at time of tour, and still has not been provided even after the request was made again through the BBB.
Client acknowledged (see attached) during the checkout process that he understood that airboats “Frequently” have mechanical issue, and that in the event that the specific boat that they booked on was unable to sail due to mechanical issues, Sea Serpent Tours would put them on a different boat, potentially at a different date/time. In this particular case, we were able to provide the client a private tour on our brand-new state of the art airboat called the Fire Dragon at no additional charge. This is a $352.00 upgrade from their original reservation.
In an attempt of satisfying the client, Sea Serpent Tours gave an even further discounted rate which would align with the Sea Dragon Airboat since the client believed that they were on the Sea Dragon (which they were not), and a refund was credit to the credit card on file. (see attached)
Based on other reviews that this client has posted on the internet about other business (over 20 negative reviews, and zero positive reviews found), to included complaints like “The sheets in the hotel room were not folded the same as they were in the pictures”, it appears that this clients “Modis Operandi” is to write negative reviews and complaints about various businesses in order to get a “free ride” or refund for services provided. Sea Serpent Tours believes that based on the misinformation provided by the client thus far, the history of providing negative reviews against multiple businesses, and the attempt to dishonor our active duty US Military personal by using a discount code that does not apply to them, there is no resolution that will be acceptable to this client.
We are a Veteran Owned and operated company, and honor our Active-Duty Military for their service. The fact that this client, a Veteran himself, would dishonor our active-duty service members in this manner is appalling, and we at Sea Serpent Tours do not appreciate these actions to try and save a few bucks. A final refund was given, discounting the cost of the tour down to our lowest priced tour, the client will not receive a “Free Ride” from Sea Serpent Tours by using these tactics.
