Florida Flyers Flight Academy had major issues providing the services flights to me at their flight school. Over the course of 2 weeks, I attempted to fly with them, and they require money to be in an account to cover your flights. I have nearly $2,500 in my account. 16APR22 I tried to fly, and the engine wouldn't start, and the instructor and I were locked out on the flight line for 1.5 hours waiting to get left into the building. After this I requested only flying while maintenance was present. 18&20APR22 I flew but due to policy I got very little flight time. After I requested longer flights. 26APR22 I had a 1300-1700 flight scheduled and as it turns out they had me scheduled on an AC that was still getting is engine changed. After I left the school, I brought up my complaints over the phone at 1400. 1630 I got a call telling me they were cancelling half of my flight for the next day as well and if I wanted more than 2 hours, I could come in before the school opened to fly but I had already scheduled around my previous flight hours. I informed them that i wanted the original hours sense I had scheduled this flight over a week prior and they told me no I had my options. At this point I decided that this school isn't valuing my business and that at this pace I would not be able to reach my license requirements for years and decided I needed to seek another school. The school is refusing to refund my money as it is in the contract, but they were failing to provide adequate services.Business response

Our flight school operates like any other flight school in the U.S. Maintenance may delay flights and this is clearly highlighted in our terms and flight training agreement. Our students obtain their PPL, IR or CP within 6 weeks or less. Flight blocks are being scheduled in 2-hour blocks as listed in our terms. We are unable to accommodate 3-hour blocks as this will interfere with the following flight schedules.
We have attached the signed agreement with *** ***** and have refunded the refundable portion of his tuition fees. Unfortunately, we can't solve this issue as *** ***** has decided to cancel his training agreement with us.
