Purchased a belt for my dryer, was told by the owner i can return without an issue if it didn't fit. I attempted to go to the business three times for my return and each time the employee assured me I can do the return but I would need to come back when the owner is in. My wife went in to process the return during the time i was told he would be there and then the owner was extremely nasty, rude and all around disrespectful to her. She was told that i was a liar and that he never told me i could return the item and that she wasn't going to get a refund because of her poor attitude. I followed up with a phone call after and was then called multiple names and treated very poorly by the owner himself. This was all over $25 which i still have not received my refund for.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:The owner verbally advised he would accept a return and/or exchange if the belt did not fit. He is simply being untruthful about the matter at hand.
This is over $25 which truthfully, I couldn't care less about. The point is that the owner was so extremely disrespectful and outright lied. Customers shouldn't be treated in such a manor especially in a business setting.
Sincerely,

Seeking to do business with local small businesses, I purchased multiple appliances and contracted service from Atlas Appliances over many years, The last time I had service from Atlas on my dryer, they made an error and the owner told me he would record a $99 credit for future business, This week I sought to purchase an over the range microwave to replace my old one. When calling the store I spoke to Nick. He recommended a GE #9179 model - convection oven. Prices were $519 - $619 on line. The specs were similar to what I had. Upon arriving at the store, I found the similar item. Nick showed me another model that had a "better matching handle." I was not given any specs or information and said I could get it for $400, When asked upon installation, he said there was no charge and they would bring it today (6/28/21). The model was a very basic model that is smaller and less efficient, and the model # installed was different than what he wrote on the receipt. Bait and switch.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/07/07) */ Pleas see attached business response: ***** ****** Customer came into store picked out the microwave, she wanted and the one she said suited her needs. And that model was installed, and that microwave was on her receipte. There was no bait and switch involved Ms ****** purchased a appliance and got the one she asked for. Atlas Appliance Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/07/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This matter is not resolved-when I called to inquire about new microwave Nick suggested the PVM-9179 model. I checked on GE site and concurred that is the model I want. Upon entering the store to pay, found the model I wanted on south wall of store. Nick led me to another microwave to show me how it would match better, and stated I could get it in same model I communicated that I wanted. The microwave was listed on line for $519. When I asked about the credit I had coming he stated he could give it to me for $400, and he himself will come to install free. Nick came to install on Monday, and of course the kitchen did not allow me to stand over him and watch installation. After installation he left abruptly and said he left the installation bag on my counter. It was then I noticed the tattered bag with installation book, but no other information. The bag and book was so old, discolored, etc. When trying to remediate, again I was told that I could get "another credit" for future purpose or pay more money to get a better model. Since reporting to you I posted on Neighborhood site, and found many others have had similar problems with the owner and business. (Attached). There is no way this was microwave I picked out. I recently purchased a table top microwave for school (am a teacher) and chose a better microwave to just heat lunch and coffee! I would NEVER choose such a cheap microwave! In trying to use this one recently, it takes forever to cook anything. I just want this ugly clunker out of my kitchen. You can see from the "installation packet left" how old and torn it was. Must have been sitting around for a very long time. Again, I went there primarily to support local business and use my $99 credit from a previous mistake they made in servicing my washer and dryer. Completely a bait and switch. You can see the model on the receipt is different from the one installed AND the microwave PVM-9179 that I researched, choose, and came in to purchase. You should also beware that I am a detailed scientist that researches EVERYTHING! It just took me almost 2 hours to choose a new hose and nozzle. I do not purchase items on a whim nor do I purchase anything last minute. Shame on me with trusting a neighborhood business and trusting their service. In the future I will just have to inspect the installation, the box, the model number, etc. before the installation. I was there the entire time observing, but could not view the model or unit until it was in. In addition, Nick brought the owners son along in my house who is underage. His only purpose was to sit playing on his phone the entire time. I don't believe that is common practice since he is not employee, did not serve any purpose in the installation, and I am sure not certified and insured. Very unprofessional all around. Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2021/07/26) */ Please see attached business response ***** ****** purchased a microwave picked out microwave she wanted and it was deliverd/installed. She got the microwave she chose, we consider matter closed. Consumer Response /* (3000, 14, 2021/07/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I already posted the discrepancies between the microwave I requested, the receipt, and the unit that was delivered. Atlas picked up the microwave, I have documentation of that. Yet, he called me at 7:23 am threatening me, insulting me, etc. I have recorded proof of that. He continues to want to charge me for a microwave I never ordered, that I agreed to let them pick up. He is allegedly stating that is was filthy - also have photos proving that is a reason to not refund money. I am a science teacher that is used to recording data. This company is causing major stress in my life, as intended, but I am not backing down on such unprofessional communications on their part. I may have to get a restraining order on this maniac if he continues to harass me in this manner.
