I used Sunshine Movers to move me to a new address on 9/15/23 and have written them and have not heard anything. They broke an antique chair and damaged the bottom of my hutch with scratches. I contacted ************** ******************* on ************** and they gave me a quote for repairs.I don't have the exact amount as I have misplaced my paper but have contacted Victorian Rose to have them call and tell me the quote. I do have pictures of damage but do not know how to send them but I can mail them to you with an address on where to send them. The quote from Victorian Rose is $749.00Business response

This is the first time we are hearing this complaint as we have had no communication since our last message went out to the client asking how the move went the day of the move which was 5 moths ago. We will be reaching out to better understand what happened and attempt to resolve this issue.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:On January 4th, a quote from Victorian Rose ********* and Refinishing and four pictures of my damaged furniture were sent to Mr.
***********, at Sunshine Moving Company as he states he had never received my letter to see about a resolution to the damage caused
by his movers on September 15, 2023.

We are working through a various forms of communication with the client as we are unable to reach the client via phone nor has the client called us once in regards to remedy for this situation. We are going back and forth via email (with no response to our last email), BBB messages and now adding United states postal service to the forms of communication. With the various forms of communication we are now understanding the client says she mailed a letter back in November which we never received. Since the client never heard back from us after sending a letter (which we never received) we then received this BBB complaint with no other attempt to reach us. Today (January 8th ****) we have received a copy of a repair bill (via ***** along with pictures of a chair that we assume is damaged however it is extremely hard to tell from the picture. We understand their is various circumstances surrounding this situation that hinder the clients ability to communicate with us so we are trying to resolve the matter as easy as we can for the client. Please note a 3rd call went out today where as we left a voicemail for the client to contact us so we can resolve this issue. If the client could please reach out to us via phone **************, we can clear everything up and resolve this issue.Customer response

This letter is in regard to Sunshine ************** and ************************* complaint of September 15, 2023.I am writing in the spirit of good will to remove any negative comments about Sunshine ************** primarily due to lack of communication between Sunshine ************** and myself mainly due to a health issue of mine which is lung fibrosis which causes me constant coughing when I have to talk. Thus it is very annoying not only to me to be on the telephone but also to the other person who has to listen to me.
Resolution has been made in this unfortunate incident. My apologies to ************************************* and *******************************.. It was a very unfortunate incident which occurred and Sunshine ************** is a good company.
