Like so many coming forward, I placed and order on 17 Mar 2022 for a vacuum hose on a credit card and was charged $196.02. I was informed, due to supply chain issues, the product delivery could take 3-4 months to be delivered. For the past 2 months, I have emailed and called Central Vacuum Store but have not received a response. Now I hear the company is out of business. I will be getting a hold of my financial institute tomorrow to see if they can help.Review from Stephen P

I placed an order on March 4th. They charged my credit card, but told me that the shipping would be slow. 3 months later, I still have not received my order. I have been trying by phone and email to reach them to no avail. I called the manufacturer or the vacuum that I was trying to buy. They told me that they have gone out of business and have screwed quite a few people in the process. I am continuing to try to reach the owner. His name is Roger A.Review from John T

Ordered a product - paid for the product upfront and never received the product. It has been almost one year now. I have tried to call but no answer. I have emailed and no response. I believe this company takes your money and never sends you the product. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.........Review from Ernie S

I ordered a central vac filter on Feb 19, 2022. My credit card was charged for the filter on Feb 19.
As of today, April 18, 2022, I still have not received the filter. I sent two emails asking for help with no response. I made at least 3 attempts to call the business but no one answers the phone.Review from Gary P

I ordered a central vacuum wand and attachements in December of 2021. My credit card was charged immediatly but I never received the order. The business does not return emailks or answer their phone. BEWARE of this company!!!!Review from Richard K

I ordered some home electronics from Central Vacuum Stores on Saturday, April 24, 2021 in the amount of 1,261.18. The order number is Order #XXXXXXX. They sent a few emails saying supply chain delays were delaying shipping but now no longer answer their phone or answer emails.

I had an order outstanding with Central Vacuum for almost a year and voiced my concerns and frustrations here on BBB. I thought all hope was lost when the company went out of business but Roger, the owner, called me, completed my order, and shipped out my products.
I will not change my rating but wanted to update this review out of respect for the owner who resolved the situation.Review from Stuart G

I purchased a central vacuum system from Central Vacuum Stores, Inc on January 15, 2022 and was told I would receive a tracking email once it shipped. I have sent multiple emails asking for an update only to get it was in processing as a response. Last week March 17, 2022 I finally received an email saying my order was cancelled but have yet to have my card credited for the $2,400 I spent on the system! No one answers the phone and its rare you get an email reply from this company. BEWAREReview from David J

Central Vacuum Stores sells VacuMaid products rebranded Imperium. Vacumaid / Imperium are manufactured by Lindsay Manufacturing in Ponca City, OK. I ordered an Imperium Power Unit from Central Vacuum Stores and was promised I would have the unit in 7 to 10 days. That did not happen. However, they immediately charged my credit card. I tried contacting them and did not get a response by email, text, or phone call. I immediately disputed the charge on my credit card. I called Lindsay Manufacturing direct and placed an order with them for a VacuMaid unit. They shipped the same day and I had the unit in 3 days! Later, I received an email from Central Vacuum Stores that said "the reality is the power unit was never sent for drop shipping. We really did drop the ball". Note this same general wording is used with other customers with negative reviews. Buyer Beware.Review from Pamela M.

I ordered a central vacuum motor from this place 6 weeks ago. Nothing was stated that the item was out of stock or back ordered. When I heard nothing for 2 weeks, I called, left messages, emailed. The reply was "your order will be shipped in 10-15 days. I got the same email each week since. They have my money. I wrote a stern email, asking if they aren't going to get it to me, please just say so. They emailed back and said it will be shipped the next day. That was 10 days ago. This company has to be a fraud, even though they claim to be a "family owned business" I am filing a dispute with my credit card company, and DO NOT recommend doing business with these people
