This hospital is a nightmare! The hospital is charging me for service I never received! The front desk lady named Gail is homophobic! The hospital had me sitting in the waiting room up to 8 hours sick with covid and bumps all over my entire body and never took me back to see a doctor because they claimed they have no bed available! Every person that came through in that 8-hour time period was either taken back and helped or given something and left, and the rest of the people that came in walked out because how they were treated that day by Gail. Now this hospital keeps sending me bills even though I never was seen by a doctor. All I did was sit in the waiting room entire time while a homophobic GaiI talk down to people and chased away business. Worst experience in my life. I ended up going to Viera hospital and was admitted immediately. If you're going to have someone represent your company, at least make sure it's not someone that is not homophobic and laugh at people at their worst, "Gail". Shame on you Rockledge medical center. I am demanding they STOP sending me bills and retrain their staff on a little empathy how to treat people that come in sick and realize other gay people are out there! One guy sat so long he peed all over the ground in the waiting room, janitor had to come and clean it up. One lady came in needing medical attention, but was told it's going to be a while to see a doctor left her keys on the counter and Gail thought it was hilarious laughing at this woman leaving keys. After 8 hours I overwhelmed and so sick I had to leave, a man hit my stomach two times so hard while I had huge bumps all over my stomach right inside entrance of ER waiting room when I was leaving around 7:30 p.m. a security guard was standing right there watching, as well as Gail, and they did nothing to stop the assault. I never saw by a Dr, to be charged for no service, and to see how they have Gail represent them laughing at people's pain, I am thoroughly disgusted. 2022

Steward, Rockledge, Florida The worse ER on the planet, August of 2021 I was ill and had Covid symptoms. The P.A on the floor was pissed I came in and refused to issue a covid test. After I argued with him, he went ahead and ordered a covid test. I had a temp of 103, I was coughing and felt like I was dying. After the test, I was told it would be two to three days for the result and to call to check the outcome. They took an x-ray and sent me home to die. two days passed I called, and the results were not ready, the next day I called and the same thing, no results. On the fourth day, I called and was told the covid test was canceled, by this time I was knocking on death's door. I then went to a real hospital in the area, the ER doctor immediately admitted me into the Covid ICU and told my wife not to expect him to come home. I was in the hospital 18 days. I had just started working a new job and had no insurance and was forced to get on Medicaid. I had run a bill of $16800.00 plus, three more ER visits and rehab cost for a total of $22000.00 The visit to the Rockledge ER was not paid by Medicaid and now I am being billed over $2500.00. I refuse to pay this bill; they should have admitted me right then and there. Maybe I would be healthy now, I am short of breath, can't do manual work, I am forgetful and lose words in mid-sentence, brain fog. I have pleaded my case to Steward, but they refuse to take my side. Never Go to any Steward related medical group, It's all about money and Zero Medical Care.
